Episode 4

Amanda strives to banish the vision of David's chiseled abs from her thoughts. She prepares a straightforward breakfast of pancakes and strawberries for herself.

As she sits at the breakfast table, nibbling slowly, she fiddles with her phone. Moments later, the doorbell rings. Puzzled, Amanda assumes it might be someone seeking Carmen. She’s about to rise when Carmen steps into view, accompanied by David.

"Did the bell ring, dear?"

"Yes, I was just about to check it."

"No need; I'll get it. It might be a delivery!"

"Okay!"

Carmen opens the door to find Marina brimming with excitement.

"Surprise!"

At the sound of Marina's familiar voice, Amanda springs up and dashes to the door.

Amanda and Marina spend the entire afternoon together. With Carmen and David out of the house, they feel more at ease. In the evening, Marina insists on taking Amanda out.

"Marina, it’s Sunday, and I have college tomorrow!"

"Your classes are in the afternoon, come on, please! We should really go out; otherwise, we’ll have to wait for next weekend!"

"Please, woman!"

They get dressed. They're both ready in stunning outfits.

Descending the stairs, they don't notice Carmen so try to slip out quietly.

Carmen materializes just as they're about to open the door, with David standing by, observing as Carmen confronts Amanda.

"Oh, please don't start, Mom. I'm just going out with Marina!"

"Where to?!"

"To... a party!"

"What party, Amanda?!"

"Oh, Mom!"

"For goodness' sake, Amanda! Don’t embarrass me in front of David!"

"Why would I be embarrassing you just because I'm going out with my friend?!"

"Look at your outfit, Amanda! You’re heading to a club, aren't you? Will you return to your foolish ways?!"

"Yes! I'm going to a club! I'm 24 years old, and I can go wherever I want. You’ll have more privacy with daddy, won’t you, daddy David?"

"AMANDA!!!"

Amanda storms out, tugging Marina by the hand. They jump into the car and drive away.

"Seriously?" asks Marina.

"What?"

"You called him 'daddy'? Haha!"

"I just say that to tease him! Haha."

"You’re wicked, Amanda! Haha."

"Not at all, haha!"

WITH CARMEN AND DAVID:

"I'm so furious! I hate it when she does that! Did you see her attitude?!"

"Relax, my love. She's young, and youngsters go out to enjoy themselves. Maybe you're being a little hard on her, don't you think?"

"Too harsh?! A proper lady doesn’t frequent clubs! Such places are filthy, heavy with drink and who knows what else!"

"Calm down, she's an adult. Let's take advantage of the quiet house, let them have fun. She’s just excited that her friend is back."

"Fine! That girl just drives me mad. I need a glass of water!"

WITH AMANDA AND MARINA:

They soon arrive at their destination.

"It's super crowded here, isn’t it?" notes Amanda.

"That’s how we like it, dull if it’s empty! Come on, let’s grab a drink!"

"But mine will be non-alcoholic; I'm driving."

"Come on! Just one alcoholic drink, then. It's no fun without alcohol!"

"Fine, just one!"
