Arlete hastily returns indoors.

"Damn it, David!"

"Stay calm, I'll talk to her!"

Amanda rushes after Arlete.

"Mrs. Arlete?"

"Don't worry, Mrs. Amanda, I won't tell anyone!"

"I... I don't even know what to say to you, Mrs. Arlete!"

"Arlete, I... let me explain!" (David says)

"No need to explain, I was already suspecting, haha."

"Really?" (Amanda asks)

"Yes, haha. You two suddenly started getting very close, and... I don't know, sometimes I saw you two together a bit too much around the house, what I saw just now was just confirmation!"

Amanda and David leave the kitchen feeling relieved.

Amanda gives a soft kiss on David's cheek and heads to her room. David watches her go with sadness in his eyes.

Entering her room, Amanda is resolved to actually leave.

"It's better this way, I'm not a teenager to keep playing boyfriend-girlfriend! I should've done this a long time ago!"

Amanda goes to look for Gonzalez.

"Gonzalez?"

"Yes, Mrs. Amanda?"

"Could you please pack all my clothes in the suitcase?"

"Are you going on a trip?"

"No! I'm leaving!"

"But why, Mrs. Amanda?"

"I need to go, Gonzalez, I can't explain now!"

"Alright then, I... I'll get everything ready!"

"Today if possible because I intend to leave early tomorrow!"

"So soon?"

"Yes!"

"Alright then, I'll sort it all out!"

Later...

Gonzalez finishes packing Amanda's suitcases and is leaving her room when he meets David in the corridor.

"Gonzalez?!"

"What were you doing in Amanda's room?!"

"Oh, I was getting her suitcases ready since she's leaving early tomorrow!"

"She's really going?"

"It seems so! Did something happen? She decided to leave quite suddenly!"

"I don't know either, Gonzalez!"

"Alright then, Mr. David, I'm going downstairs!"

"Where's Amanda?"

"I don't know, she's not in her room, she's somewhere with her friend!"

WITH AMANDA:

Amanda is in the yard telling Carmen that she's leaving.

"Just like that, Amanda?!"

"Mom, you have to let me be free, I'm an adult, I'm 24 years old for heaven's sake!"

"Honey, this new college you got into is great, you'll have a bright future, if you move you won't be able to come to this college, it'll be too far!"

"Is that what you're worried about?!"

"I worry about your future, my daughter!"

"Mom, I'll be successful at that college or any other, don't worry about that!"

"Amanda, my daughter..."

"Mom, don't insist, I'm going anyway!"

"Okay then, but how will you support yourself?"

"I'll figure it out!"

Amanda spends the entire day avoiding David and doesn't even come down for dinner. She's in her room with Marina.
