Dimitri's mood swings and terrible temper are messing with my psyche. Now, as expected, he has disappeared. I haven't seen him since that day, and you know what? I couldn't care less.
He didn't even wait for an explanation about the misunderstanding and went straight to breaking everything, and worst of all, he replaced Tiago with another security guard and now I'm without my friend.
I went back to work two weeks ago, and since I've been back I've had to put up with this annoying guy on my tail, not talking, always with a frown and always ratting out everything I do to Dimitri.
At school things are no better. I was dying to see my little munchkins, but the atmosphere in the staff room was awful. I've always been very discreet and never been one to talk much about my life, so I wasn't close to anyone, but I've always treated everyone with kindness and respect.
Everyone is avoiding me and giving me strange looks, some even seem to want to run away from me, and for the past 3 days I've noticed that some of my students have been absent without justification, their parents don't answer my messages and don't answer my calls.
I decided to go to the principal's office to talk to the school principal to see what we can do.
"Excuse me, Susan, can I come in?"
"Good morning, Mr. Akello, please come in, I was just about to call you here."
Principal Susan and I have always been friends, she was the only one here that I considered close, she always called me Malik and dispensed with formalities, so when she called me by my last name, I knew something was very wrong.

I walked out of there more sad than angry. When I wanted to keep the marriage public, I didn't think about how it would affect my work, and that sucks. I love teaching, and teaching is my life's purpose. I don't know if I'll be able to get a job anywhere else after the divorce.
When the day was over, I explained to the students that I would have to be away from school for personal reasons, they didn't quite understand, so I said I needed to take care of my family, that seemed to convince the little ones, but they still put on a big drama, lots of tears, theirs and mine, until finally they started going home.
As I was about to leave, I noticed that there was still a pair of beautiful, innocent eyes looking at me.
"Jordan, what are you still doing here?"
"Mr. Akello, I don't want you to go."
"Honey, don't be like that, look, I bet the new teacher will be great."
"But she won't be you, you saved me, Mr. Akello, you saved my dad and me, my family."
"That's why you have to promise me that you'll continue to be that smart and clever boy, that you'll continue studying and being good and honest, do you promise me?"
"Yes, sir."
"I'm not going away, little one, I promise I'll visit you whenever I can."
After a long hug, I walked Jordan to the school gate, his father came towards us to pick up the little one and talk to me, but that annoying Sebastian wouldn't let him, I hate that security guard, I miss my friend.
I went back home and when I entered the room I let all the anger and frustration I was feeling out in the form of tears, I always feel better afterwards. And a good glass of wine might help too, and you know what, screw Dimitri, the son of a bitch, I need my friend.
I left the room and Dimitri's shadow wasn't glued to my heels anymore, which was a relief, I went to the wine cellar and got a bottle of wine, and went looking for Tiago, he must be in the training room, he always told me that he stayed there when he wasn't working.
I heard sounds of fighting coming from there and I was already happy, but when I opened the door I came face to face with Dimitri and Ivan.
I could be shocked at the sight of that shirtless, muscular, huge, sweaty, handsome man standing right there in front of me, but damn, I was already fed up with Dimitri always ruining my plans, damn, I just wanted to have a glass of wine and chat with my friend, but this sexy, handsome ogre is everywhere ruining everything.
"Ugh, damn it, and you're a pain in the ass!"
I shouted and stormed out of there, trying to figure out where Tiago might be. I don't know where the employee housing is, why does this house have to be so big?
When I finally found the path that leads to the lodging at the back of the garden, I felt an arm grab me as I took the first step.
"Where do you think you're going, professor?"
