Keyza burst into laughter at Rafael's words, although he appeared quite grave at the time of speaking them. The issue was that Antonio had made the same promise in the past and betrayed her with Kenya, so she couldn't expect Rafael, whose beloved was her own sister, to be entirely loyal to her.

"I've heard those promises before, Rafael. All I ask is that you show me respect, as I don't expect loyalty from anyone," Keyza stated bitterly.

Rafael was stunned by her harsh words. He placed a hand on his cheek, shook his head, and couldn't help but wonder what had occurred in the Bagirova household to leave Keyza so disillusioned.

"I am a man of my word, Keyza, and time will prove me right," Rafael promised.

"Rafael, if you fall for someone, just be honest with me, and I vow to step aside without issue," Keyza said earnestly.

"I am not ever going to fall in love again," Rafael declared, his voice laced with bitterness.

Antonio was distraught and suffering from a terrible hangover, a common affliction since his split from Keyza. He drank daily to forget the pain of losing her—she was perfect for him, except for one flaw that he couldn't accept.

"Antonio, have you seen the news about you and Kenya?" Angela inquired.

"Mom, it's to be expected in situations like these."

"I made a reservation for you two to dine together tomorrow. They'll be taking photos, so you need to dress appropriately for the occasion," Angela insisted.

"Mom, I'm really tired."

Antonio turned over and covered his head to block out his mother's shrill voice, regretting that she was the first to learn of Keyza's sterility.

"The dinner to announce your engagement with Kenya is on Friday, so you must get over whatever is affecting you."

"I'm doing what you want; just let me be."

"Should you have any doubts, just remember that Keyza is as barren as the desert and a liar. She would have never told you about it, hoping that you would marry her despite her flaws."

Angela smiled, having felt thrilled ever since Keyza's gynecologist’s secretary sold her the medical information. It was the only way she found to split her son from that quirky woman.

"I'm worried about Antonio," Angela said to her husband Randy.

"Antonio is a smart man; he knows she's not right for him," Randy replied.

Knowing they were being followed to locate Keyza, Fausto altered their plans. A pub employee would come to fetch them the following morning.

"Go to your room, Rafael," Keyza directed, pointing him to the bedroom door.

"Only if you join me," responded Rafael.

Keyza disagreed, but she was taken aback when he scooped her up like a sack of potatoes, carrying her along.

"Put me down now, Rafael," Keyza protested.

"You're such a noisy one, Keyza."

Rafael dropped her onto the bed in his room, and seeing her there, looking so desirable, he knew he wouldn't hold back and that he'd make her his once more that night.

"Rafa, stop tickling me!" Keyza laughed uncontrollably.

At the Bagirova residence, a worried father had been searching for Keyza for two days without success.

"Andrei, if you have any knowledge of Keyza's whereabouts, you must tell me," said Andrei.

"She turned off her phone, Andrei, and beyond that, I have no idea where she could be," Anastasia responded.

The next morning Andrei looked utterly exhausted, having spent a second sleepless night. He ate his breakfast and was about to exit the house when Ivana called to him.

"Andrei, you must do everything in your power to ensure Keyza attends the dinner; it’s for the best of everyone."

Andrei shook his head, sickened with himself for permitting such mistreatment over the years without defending her.

"It's best for you and Kenya, not her, so don't count on me as I won't bother her," he declared.

"Andrei, please, you have to help me. Remember that Kenya is your daughter too," Ivana pleaded.

"Isn't Keyza my daughter as well?" Andrei asked sarcastically, his voice tinged with scorn.

Ivana averted her gaze, feigning deep embarrassment.

"We both know the circumstances of her birth," Ivana said uncomfortably.

Andrei acknowledged he should never have forgiven her infidelity, as it had only left him feeling emasculated.

"That doesn't change the fact that she's still your daughter," Andrei reproached.

Ivana was distressed, remembering the past, for it was due to her pregnancy with her husband that her lover declined to elope with her.

"Had Keyza not been born, I could have escaped this damned marriage," Ivana said bitterly.

"The same pathetic excuse as always. You should have left, and it’s still not too late," Andrei retorted disdainfully.

"Andrei, please wait. I didn’t mean that,” Ivana pleaded.

"Andrei, if you wish to leave, do so, but don't drag our daughters into this anymore," Andrei responded, turning away from her.

He was in a hurry, with something important to do before work. The family driver moved to open the car door for him, but Andrei stopped him.

"Alberto, I do not need your services today. You may leave."

Andrei got behind the wheel and drove off, leaving the employee astonished. He didn't want his wife to know about his errand.

"How long will the results take?" Andrei inquired anxiously at the laboratory.

"In five days, we will have the results," the employee assured him.

Andrei felt disheartened, knowing regardless of the results, Keyza would never forgive him.

"I'd prefer it if you weren't my daughter,” he muttered to himself.

At the university, Ivana faced the shock of Kenya's absence from work due to illness. Using her manipulative skills, she convinced the dean to meet with her.

"I’m so distressed, my daughter has been missing for two days," Ivana said, withholding her tears.

The middle-aged dean was easily persuaded by this beautiful woman.

"I can assist by contacting her through her institutional email," he suggested.

Ivana thanked him, and seizing the opportunity to write to her defiant daughter, she contemplated before typing, "There's a dinner this Friday at the house to announce your sister's wedding. If you don’t attend, I’ll ensure you get fired and never hired again." She hit send and bestowed a grateful smile upon the dean.

"Thank you, Dean. You're very kind," she said with a beaming smile.

"I'm more than willing to help."

Keyza didn’t immediately read the email, as she was busy with her own wedding preparations, the prenup signing, and its registration. Susie insisted she dress suitably for the event.

"Susie, it's not necessary; this dress means a great deal to you."

"My mom would’ve loved you wearing it," Susie persisted.

"Wear it. I’m sure you’ll look lovely," Rafael chimed in.

Once Keyza was ready, all agreed she looked stunning. Rafael, Keyza, Fausto, and Susie arrived at the registry office, where, due to Fausto's connections, they signed the document and were officially married within an hour.

"You are now officially married," Fausto professed, albeit reluctantly.

"We must celebrate," Susie exclaimed, bubbling with joy.

Rafael, observing Keyza's uneasy demeanor, tenderly took her hand.

"We'll only celebrate if you want to, Keyza," he said.

"Of course she wants to, don't you, Keyza?"

Keyza shrugged and complied, not wanting to spoil her best friend's joy despite the unconventional nature of her own wedding.

"Enter first. I need to make a call," Rafael excused himself.

As Rafael arranged their move, Fausto, Susie, and Keyza walked into the restaurant, only to encounter Kenya and Antonio waiting for their table.

"Keyza, what are you doing here?" Antonio asked with astonishment.

He saw her in the delicate lace dress and longed to embrace her, but Keyza looked at him with stark disappointment.

"I no longer have an appetite for this place since they admit just about anyone," Susie declared loudly.

"Susie makes a valid point—this place does admit just about anyone," echoed Keyza.
