Rafael abruptly stopped, even though his manhood begged to possess her immediately, but he decided not to continue. Keyza sat on the bed, watching him with annoyance.

"What's the problem now, Rafael?" Keyza asked curiously.

"I don't have condoms at home," Rafael responded, embarrassed.

While Keyza was in the middle of preparing for her wedding, she discovered something that devastated her: the chances of her getting pregnant were a pitiful 2%.

"Don't worry, Rafael, there's no risk of pregnancy."

Rafael smiled widely at that news and assumed that she was still taking contraceptives.

"I guarantee I'm disease-free."

"I hope so, Rafael, or I swear you'll be a eunuch," Keyza warned him.

"What were we doing?" Rafael asked, depositing a kiss on her shoulder.

Rafael took his time to make her his own, and for Keyza, his touch was a delight that made her tremble with pleasure. She bit her lips to stifle her screams.

"Let go and don't be so shy," Rafael said seductively.

He was a man with a lot of experience and it was easy for him to realize that she was bluffing and wasn't as experienced as she claimed. But that pleased Rafael because he felt very compatible with her. Plus, she was very affectionate and devoted to pleasing him.

"Do you like it, Keyza? Tell me what I can do to make you feel good," Rafael asked.

"I really like how you're doing it," Keyza responded with a husky voice.

It was a great discovery for Keyza because she realized that she didn't dislike sex; it was just that Antonio was a terrible lover. He only cared about his own pleasure without considering his partner's needs.

"Don't fall asleep, lazy," Rafael told her, kissing the tip of her nose.

Keyza was surprised by Rafael's stamina. And though he seemed very gruff, after they finished, he covered her with a blanket and held her.

"I really can't go on, Keyza. This old man is tired," Rafael said before falling asleep.

The next morning, Keyza woke up with a massive headache and didn't recognize the place she was in. She felt a slight panic, but then she remembered what happened the night before and smiled. She got out of bed and looked out the window. The view of the bay was beautiful. She heard a noise and turned her head to see the man lying in bed, asleep. And he was truly attractive. She blushed again because she didn't expect that beneath all of Rafael's clothes, he hid such beauty. The previous night had been passionate, and it was the best sex she had ever enjoyed in her life.

"I'm never going to drink alcohol again in my life," she said to herself in a loud voice.

"You're so noisy, Keyza," Rafael said.

Rafael got out of bed, and Keyza could see his body only covered by his underwear. She swallowed hard because he was very sexy. He wrapped his arms around her, and she had to admit that he smelled very manly.

"What are you doing, Rafael?" Keyza asked curiously.

Keyza was surprised when Rafael effortlessly lifted her, carrying her like a princess, and gently placed her back on the bed.

"It's Sunday, Keyza. Let's sleep a little longer," Rafael said.

A couple of minutes later, Keyza fell into a deep sleep, and after 30 minutes, Rafael woke again. He was relaxed but also surprised because sex with Keyza had never felt this way. He felt a twinge of guilt for using her to ease his pain because she truly was a good person, not the witch his ex used to call her.

"I hope you'll accept, Keyza," Rafael said.

He made his way to his room, having made a decision, and hoped that Keyza would agree. He looked at the small box with the ring, gazing at it with affection.

"Mama, I hope you won't be upset about what I'm about to do," Rafael said.

Rafael returned and noticed that Keyza was still resting, and he smiled because he had completely exhausted her. He went back to bed and watched her seriously, until Keyza finally woke up and looked at him expectantly.

"Were you serious last night?" Keyza asked.

Rafael didn't expect her to bring up the topic so soon, but this was a good sign. Maybe he wouldn't have to keep trying to convince her.

"Are you going to keep insisting over and over again?" Rafael protested.

Even though he was willing, he wanted to tease her a little more because he would like to have her help.

"If Rafael, you already know how determined I can be when I set my mind to something."

Rafael took a deep breath because he was filled with resentment. It was the first time he had been 100% honest with a woman and opened his heart to be treated like garbage. Few people knew that Rafael wasn't someone who allowed himself to be mocked.

"I'm serious, and if you're willing, we can help each other," Rafael said sincerely.

"It doesn't matter if you can't do it, I understand," Rafael said without any emotion in his voice.

Rafael knew that after all, Keyza was a good person regardless of the bad things that might have happened to her, and maybe it wasn't good to involve her in his personal vendetta.

"And then what will happen, Rafael?" Keyza asked with concern.

"I don't know, Keyza, because I haven't thought about what I'm going to do beyond achieving my goal."

Rafael observed her closely and realized that she was very beautiful and didn't deserve the kind of life she had because of her family.

"I promise you that when all this is over, you will have the freedom you long for and enough money to never have to work again."

"Who told you that I don't like my job?" Keyza asked annoyed.

Rafael ruffled his black hair just to make her mad.

"I know you enjoy it, but wouldn't it be better to work only because you have to do something to keep from getting bored, considering how you're feeling right now?"

"Why are you looking at me like that, Rafael?" Keyza asked.

"I remembered something I heard in college," Rafael said with amusement.

Rafael burst into laughter, and Keyza looked at him annoyed.

"I can already imagine what it is," Keyza said sarcastically.

"Alright, Rafael, let's do it," Keyza said, giving him her hand to seal the deal.

Rafael watched her amused because she still retained a bit of her naivety, and he found it very entertaining.

"Aren't you going to shake my hand to seal the deal?" Keyza asked.

"I don't plan on sealing the deal that way," Rafael replied.

"And how do you plan on sealing the deal?" Keyza asked curiously.

Keyza was surprised when Rafael, who seemed like a predator about to devour his prey, positioned himself over her and smirked mischievously.

"I plan on sealing the deal this way," Rafael said, trailing kisses along her body.

"Rafael, you're tickling me," Keyza said, laughing loudly.

Rafael possessively kissed Keyza as he penetrated her, fully immersing himself in a great pleasure that made him forget how broken he felt at that moment. This was exactly what he needed to not think, and he promised himself never to fall in love with another woman again.

"Will you marry me, Keyza?" Rafael asked without much emotion.

"Yes, I accept your proposal, Rafael," Keyza responded calmly.

Both of them rested relaxed, and Rafael took the ring from the nightstand and placed it on her ring finger.

"What does this mean?" Keyza asked in astonishment.

"You accepted my marriage proposal," Rafael replied coldly.

Keyza examined the ring closely, and Rafael thought she would complain about its cheapness.

"Do you find it too simple?" Rafael asked sarcastically.

Keyza shook her head and felt very uncomfortable due to his cold attitude.

"No, Rafael, on the contrary, I think it's very beautiful."

Rafael smiled at her honest response. Keyza was so different from her sister.

"I'm really glad you like it," Rafael said, downplaying it.

"The problem is that I can tell you really appreciate it, so you should give it to a woman who is very valuable to you, not your revenge partner."
