Episode 6

Susie and Fausto got into their car and headed towards the city, both angry about the treatment Keyza received at her parents' house. It had always been this way and there was nothing they could do to stop it.

"I'm not sure if it was a good idea to leave Rafael and Keyza alone in that place," Fausto said with concern.

"My brother and Keyza have more in common than they realize," Susie assured.

"It's not right that you want to pair them up."

Susie always insisted that her brother and her friend were very compatible and that they would get along great if it wasn't for the poisonous Kenya.

"This time it wasn't intentional," Susie said.

Fausto stopped the car a few meters from his house because he noticed Antonio's vehicle waiting for them at the entrance.

"Susie, wait for me in the car," Fausto suggested.

Fausto walked towards Antonio's car and tapped on the driver's window. Antonio, who was waiting in the car, pressed the button to roll down the window so they could talk.

"What are you doing at the entrance of my house, Antonio?" Fausto asked.

"I'm looking for Keyza because I need to talk to her."

Fausto shook his head because he deeply regretted introducing them. Antonio turned out to be a jerk and hurt his friend deeply.

"She's not here."

Antonio got very angry because ever since he saw her leave the Bagirova's house, he couldn't communicate with her. He was very worried about her and wanted to know if she was okay.

Chaos reigned in the Bagirova's house. As soon as Ivana realized that Keyza had left, she started destroying the furniture in her room. Luckily, Anastasia had already hidden the things that held sentimental value for her niece.

"Why does Keyza have to be so annoying?" Ivana asked, very angry.

"You should be very happy, Ivana. You don't have to see her every day anymore," Anastasia replied sarcastically.

"Who told you that I wanted her to leave the house? Now everyone is going to talk badly about us."

"In that case, they would be telling the truth."

Ivana kept calling Keyza's number repeatedly, but she realized that she was blocked. She angrily went to her husband's study to fill him in on the situation.

"Andrei, we must do something to make Keyza come back home," Ivana said.

Andrei had a strong headache because he arrived home to find a great conflict between his daughters.

"Ivana, it's very late. Please go rest."

"But what will our friends say?!"

"What do you think they will say?" Andrei asked sarcastically.

"Andrei, we need to protect our daughter."

"And I am doing that, but it doesn't change the fact that people are going to talk about her. The breakup between Antonio and Keyza wasn't official yet, and Kenya is already pregnant."

"We need to make Keyza come to the engagement celebration dinner to silence the rumors."

Andrei observed his wife and found her so annoyed in that moment and he didn't want to be rude, but this time Kenya went too far, although he didn't care much about Keyza, what she did was very wrong but despite what happened when he arrived and saw his daughter Kenya with a bruised face, he lost his patience with Keyza, but when he wanted to check on her, she had already decided to leave without giving him the chance to explain.

"I suppose you will come up with something, Ivana, since you're an expert at lying" Andrei said sarcastically.

Ivana realized that he was very angry and it was time to leave him alone. Andrei took a folder in which several documents were found, including two paternity tests dating back a long time, and it showed that one was his daughter and the other was not. Andrei resented Keyza because she was not his biological daughter. There was a knock on the door and it was Anastasia, who brought with her a painkiller and a glass of water.

"Thanks, Anastasia, I really needed it" Andrei said.

"I was packing Keyza's things" Anastasia said sadly.

"I don't want to talk about Keyza anymore" Andrei said with annoyance.

"I know, but I wanted to show you something."

Anastasia showed him an old photo album that was hidden among his niece's things.

"I had forgotten about the existence of this album" Andrei assured.

"I don't know how it ended up among Keyza's things" Anastasia said.

"She was very curious when she was little" Andrei said nostalgically.

Andrei remembered that time and in fact loved his two daughters equally, but then he found out about Ivana's affair and the test results came in, so he decided to forgive his wife, but condemned Keyza to ostracism and hated himself because he could never get rid of her.

"I wanted you to see this photo" Anastasia said.

Anastasia showed him a photo of a woman of a similar age to Keyza's at the moment, and Andrei didn't recognize who it was because he didn't remember his relatives from his parents' homeland.

"Who is this woman?" He asked curiously.

"Our great-great-grandmother, and isn't it incredible how DNA is? After several generations, Keyza is the only one in the family who has her same features."

Andrei looked at the photo and was astonished because it couldn't be possible, the two of them were not related.

"Can I keep the album?" Andrei asked.

"You can have it for a couple of days until I have to give it to Keyza."

Andrei heard the sound of the door, closed his eyes, and put his hands to his head. He had many doubts because now he realized that the laboratory could have made a mistake, and if that was the case, he did something unforgivable against Keyza.

"Mom, did you talk to my dad?" Kenya asked.

"Yes, but he's not very happy with everything that happened."

"This was your idea, mom."

"I know, Kenya, but I didn't like that loser Rafael as your husband."

Kenya bit her lip because she did like Rafael, but she had to let him go because she was very ambitious and Antonio was a more suitable man for her interests.

"Mom, I need your help with something else."

"I imagine it's related to your little problem."

"Yes, it's about that."

"Don't worry because I'm going to make your sister come back home and we can blame her for the loss of your baby."

Kenya was pregnant with Antonio's child, but she lost it a few days after finding out, however, she continued with the charade as she was trying to get pregnant again.

"I'm glad I can always count on you, mom" Kenya said.
