Grizelda crumpled the paper and tossed it aside, indifferent to the contents of the letter.
She truly did not care about the challenge, whatever they wanted to do was up to them.
Grizelda then climbed onto her motorcycle and accelerated down the streets toward her school.
Shortly after, she arrived at school and entered the gate to park her motorcycle.
From inside a car, Evelin noticed Grizelda on the motorcycle.
"Where did she get that bike from?" murmured Evelin, frowning in thought.
Grizelda parked her bike in the designated motorcycle area and then headed to her class.
"Father scolded both me and mom during our shopping because he didn't return home. So why did the old man scold me and my mother when he was the one who drove her away? Ugh! Totally infuriating!" Evelyn grumbled in frustration.
"Hey, girlfriend." suddenly, Rafasya blocked Grizelda's path.
"You again," Grizelda pouted.
"Come on, why are you looking at me like that? I think I'm pretty cool today," Rafasya said, as he swept back his hair.
"Stop making... me... your... shield!" Grizelda said assertively.
"Hey! I've never used you as a shield, I genuinely consider you my girlfriend," Rafasya insisted.
Grizelda gave him a hard look. "If you have so much spare time to fool around, do something else more productive. Don't bother me, I don't have time to play with you," Grizelda said before walking away toward her class.
"My valuable time is when I'm with you!" Rafasya shouted after her.
He was about to follow Grizelda when suddenly someone grabbed his arm.
"Hold on a moment, Rafasya!" the girl called out. Yes, the girl who loved him deeply.
"What now?" Rafasya said, his expression changing instantly.
"She doesn't like you, why do you keep chasing her?" the girl asked, sadness evident in her voice.
"Let go of me!" Rafasya demanded.
The girl released his arm.
"This is none of your business, go find something that is, we don't even know each other." Rafasya then walked away, leaving the girl standing alone.
"Rafasya, why can't you understand my feelings... you're chasing someone who doesn't like you, it's like a love triangle with an end," the girl said with tears in her eyes.
Unrequited love truly hurts. The strong desire to possess someone can leave one torn between either going to any lengths to have them or sinking into despair. But if one has a sound mind, they would choose a third option, to let go.
Grizelda walked into the classroom and took her seat.
Sindi, Rita, and Maya also just entered the class. They glared at Grizelda with resentment.
Sindi immediately approached Grizelda, her leg still hurt from being stepped on by Grizelda during their run the day before.
"How dare you step on my foot! Do you know the consequences of injuring me!" Sindi half-shouted.
"Oh, what, you want to whine to your daddy, the principal, to get me kicked out of school? Heh! Not cool, you know, if I transfer schools you'll be bored without having me to chat with like now," Grizelda said, propping her chin up with a sweet smile.
"Hey! Who wants to talk to you, you've hurt me, I'm not going to ask my dad to expel you, but I will ensure you get penalized," retorted Sindi with a sly smile.
"Oh, in that case, I should thank the principal for giving me spare time to plot my next move," Grizelda responded with another smile.
