"Sorry, guys, I was delayed because she wanted to come along," Evelyn said as she pulled Grizelda into the room.

Everyone turned to look at Grizelda, whose plump frame was the subject of their gaze. In truth, Evelyn's friends had no issue with her presence once they saw her for themselves. Besides, the real-life Grizelda varied slightly from what Evelyn had described over the phone.

Indeed, because on the phone, Evelyn had exaggerated Grizelda's weight to 100 kg, mentioning her chubby, acne-riddled cheeks, and calling her ugly and plain. Evelyn had even encouraged them to mock Grizelda in exchange for a treat to an all-you-can-eat meal.

"Evelyn said she was really ugly, but she isn't that bad," Miko whispered to Yoga.

"Hmm... I think so too," Yoga nodded, observing the bewildered Grizelda.

"Hey sweetie, come sit here," called a black-shirted man named Jing, waving to Grizelda.

Grizelda looked at him, hesitant. Despite his good looks, he had the air of a playboy.

"I'll sit over here," Grizelda decided, taking a seat at the end of the couch.

Evelyn glanced at her friends, signaling the plan they had concocted on the call.

"But... she's not like how you described," Aza whispered.

"Just do it, now!" Evelyn commanded.

"Hey fatty! Aren't you embarrassed to hang out with us?" Aza asked, elegantly crossing one leg over the other as she sat.

"Truly shameless, joining us is disgraceful. You're ugly and unkempt. Who would like someone as ugly as you? How dare you even think of joining us, it's disgusting," Yoga ranted.

Evelyn watched with a sneer directed at Grizelda, who clearly understood why Evelyn had invited her out.

"Heh-heh-heh, if you want to look cool, try this," Miko offered Grizelda a bottle of hard liquor.

Grizelda was shocked; she could hardly believe that Evelyn and her friends would drink something like that.

"Hey! What are you doing! You're still students drinking forbidden drinks. Or maybe you've also indulged in immoral behavior?" Grizelda guessed.

"Hey! Don't act so pure! You wanted to as well, didn't you?" Jing said, draping his arm over Grizelda's shoulder. She shrugged him off.

Annoyed, Jing shoved her onto the couch and braced himself with his hands on the backrest.

"Let's do it right here," Jing suggested. Evelyn laughed, recording Grizelda and Jing.

"No way!" Grizelda yelled. She bent her knees and thrust her feet into Jing's stomach, causing him pain.

Jing clutched his stomach and collapsed onto the sofa.

"Hey! What did you do to him!" Miko yelled.

"Who cares," Grizelda replied.

Miko and Yoga tried to grab her, but she ran. They gave chase.

"Where can I hide?" Grizelda wondered.

She turned a corner and spotted a slightly ajar door, slipping inside. In the room, there were several people and a man in an argument with a woman.

Upon seeing Grizelda enter, they stopped their quarrel to look at her.

"Heh-heh-heh, sorry, carry on, don't mind me; I'm just hiding out," Grizelda said before hiding behind the sofa.

Miko and Yoga entered the room looking for her but didn't recognize anyone, nor did they spot Grizelda.

"Sorry, wrong room," Miko said.

After they left, Grizelda peeped from behind the sofa and, seeing no one in pursuit, came out from her hiding place.

"Thanks for letting me hide here," she said with a smile.

She began to head towards the door but was suddenly pulled back by someone grabbing her shirt collar.

"Eh, what's this about?" Grizelda asked, perplexed.

"From now on, she's my girlfriend, so never come near me again," the man holding Grizelda's hand declared.

Grizelda's eyes widened in disbelief at the man's pronouncement.

"Come on, Rafasya, don't use her as a scapegoat for breaking up with me. She's not your type, stop lying to yourself," the woman said with a scornful smile towards Grizelda.

"What does it matter? Whether she's my type or not, as long as we love each other, it's none of your business," Rafasya retorted impulsively.

"Ewww... you're seriously in love with this ugly girl? Can't you see how hideous the woman beside you is?" the woman disparaged Grizelda.

"Ah, it's not your concern, let's go," Rafasya said, pulling Grizelda out of the room.
