Episode 4

A week had passed since the tragedy of Julia's death at the school had gradually begun to fade from concern.

However, a strange incident occurred. On Friday morning, when Class XI A had their turn for sports lessons.

The girls began entering the changing room to swap their uniforms for sportswear.

All of the girls had finished changing, except for Dina.

Dina was changing her clothes beside the permanently locked changing room at the very end where Julia had committed suicide. The school authorities had locked that room to prevent its use.

Nothing unusual happened when Dina entered that changing room, but when she started to undress, the sound of weeping could be heard from Julia's sealed changing room.

"Who's crying?" Dina murmured curiously.

Driven by the sound of the woman's weeping, Dina pressed her ear against the changing room wall to listen more clearly.

The weeping sound became more distinct to Dina.

She hastily pulled away from the wall.

Oddly, Dina noticed a thick red liquid with a pungent smell flowing from next to the unused changing room, dripping onto the floor.

Dina's panic escalated as more blood flowed, staining her shoes.

She tried to open the changing room door but it seemed to be locked tight.

Frustrated and confused, Dina began screaming for help.

"Help! Someone open the door!" shouted Dina while pounding frantically on the changing room door.

Despite her loud cries for assistance, nobody appeared to hear her.

As she continued ramming the door, suddenly a pallid, blood-soaked hand clutched Dina's leg and yanked her with such force that she fell, her head striking the floor violently.

Dina lost consciousness, and a thick red substance oozed from her head.

Meanwhile, the rest of the students had lined up, ready for their sports lesson.

The sports teacher began to call the roll when it came to Dina's turn.

"Dina," the teacher announced her absence.

"Maybe she's still in the changing room?" one of Dina's classmates suggested.

"All right, Nana, go and fetch her. Tell her to hurry up or she'll get a demerit," the teacher said.

"Okay, sir," Nana replied, leaving the line to call for Dina.

Nana walked into the restroom, calling out.

"Dina! Dina! Come on, the teacher's waiting!" Nana shouted into the restroom.

But there was no reply from Dina.

Eventually, Nana approached the changing room to look for her.

"Dina, where are you? Come out, I'm getting scared," Nana said.

A shadow flitted behind Nana.

"Dina, stop playing around," Nana remarked casually.

Nana walked towards the end near Julia's former changing room and screamed in horror upon seeing the blood on the floor.

"Aaaaah!" Nana shrieked.

Nana's classmates, who were on the field, heard her yell and quickly ran towards her.

"What happened, Na?" asked Dewi.

"T-that's Dina," Nana pointed frantically to the changing room.

Dewi and Anis, seeing Dina lying on the floor, panicked and immediately went to fetch the sports teacher for help.

The teacher lifted Dina and took her to the school's medical room.

A teacher on duty in the medical room quickly tended to Dina.

"What happened here, Mr. Dito?" asked the attending nurse.

"I'm not sure, Mrs. Ani. Nana and Dewi found Dina unconscious on the floor, her head bleeding," Mr. Dito explained.

"Let me take care of her," the nurse said, taking over the treatment.

Minutes later, the nurse approached Mr. Dito, who was waiting outside.

"Mr. Dito, it looks like we need to call an ambulance; Dina's head won't stop bleeding," informed the nurse.

Mr. Dito immediately used his phone to call for an ambulance.

Fifteen minutes later, the ambulance siren that alarmed the studying students could be heard.

The paramedics rushed to the medical room and took Dina into the ambulance, heading for the nearest hospital.

Elsewhere, students in Class XI C were disrupted by news of a student's fall in the changing room.

"Everyone stay calm and carry on with your work," a Chemistry teacher instructed.

"Siska, Erin, Indra, and Kevin, return to your seats and finish your assignments," the teacher continued.

The students returned to their seats as instructed.

"I'll be right back. When I return, I expect these assignments to be completed, understood?"

"Yes, ma'am," the students replied in unison.

The Chemistry teacher temporarily left the classroom and headed to the office.

Once there, several teachers were discussing Dina's accident.

"How can this be? Two students suffering tragedies within a month at our school," Mrs. Fitri, Class XI A's homeroom teacher who also taught Biology, pondered aloud.

"Yes, I'm puzzled too. I've worked at this school for almost five years and never seen such incidents. If the foundation head finds out, we could all be reprimanded," Mrs. Yasmi, the Class XI C homeroom and Math teacher, added.

"What's this commotion?" interjected the passing school principal.

"We're discussing the incidents at school. So many events have happened already, and we must keep this from Mr. Damar," explained Mrs. Yasmi.

"Indeed, I heard about the Class XI A student who fell in the bathroom. We should keep this quiet and not let Mr. Damar know," said Mr. Danu, the school principal.

"Yes, sir. We hope so too," agreed Mrs. Fitri.
