Kevin made his way to the locker situated in the changing room. Upon reaching his locker, he unlocked it and retrieved his white sneakers, which he commonly wore for sports activities.
He slipped off his worn-out black shoes and put on the white sneakers instead.
Once he had laced up his white shoes, Kevin placed the damaged pair inside the locker, when the peculiar occurrences began once more.
While Kevin was stowing away his tattered shoes, he abruptly felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, and sensed someone standing behind him.
Panicking and fearful, Kevin, who had thought he was alone in the changing room, mustered the courage to look behind him, only to find his suspicion confirmed.
The spirit of Julia was haunting him again, and in his terror, Kevin attempted to flee the changing room.
Students who saw Kevin running paid him no mind since his behavior had become increasingly odd over the past few days.
Kevin raced until he found refuge in the school’s storeroom.
Inside, the storeroom was cluttered with broken tables and chairs that were no longer in use, along with forgotten school supplies such as blackboards and other unusable items.
Hiding underneath a desk, Kevin's cold sweat mixed with fear as his heart hammered when he noticed a pair of feet searching for him.
“You cannot hide from me, Kevin, hehehe,” the spirit Julia's voice taunted as she looked for him.
The sight of Julia’s approaching feet intensified Kevin's fear.
Closer and closer they came until Julia’s feet halted just at the desk where Kevin was hiding.
But after several minutes without a sign of Julia's feet, Kevin began to feel a bit calmer and considered emerging from his hiding spot.
Just as he turned around, he was shocked to find Julia's ghost by his side, discovering his presence.
“Aaaaaa,” Kevin screamed, darting from under the desk toward the door.
At the door, he tried to exit the storeroom, but the door wouldn’t budge despite his forceful attempts.
Desperate, Kevin began pounding on the door.
“Help! Anybody out there, please open the door!” Kevin cried out as he banged on the storeroom door.
Yet, his efforts were in vain, and his yells went unheard as if the storeroom was soundproof.
Julia's ghost neared Kevin.
“What do you want?” Kevin asked, afraid.
“I want to take you with me, Kevin, just like Dina and Toni,” responded the smiling spirit of Julia.
“So it was you who harmed them, Julia?” Kevin inquired.
“Yes, they were cruel to me, now it's your turn, Kevin, hehehe,” Julia cackled.
“Please don’t kill me, Julia; I'm sorry, I admit I was wrong, please forgive me,” Kevin pleaded, apologizing to Julia.
“No! When you did that to me, Kevin, you showed me no mercy.”
“Forgive me, Julia, please forgive me,” Kevin begged, with tears in his eyes.
Spotting a rope dangling over a chair, Kevin hastily fashioned a noose around a ceiling beam before climbing onto the chair.
Already plagued by depression from being constantly haunted by Julia’s ghost and from past misdeeds, coupled with the neglect from his parents, Kevin gave in.
“Alright, Julia, I will atone for my wrongs to you,” said Kevin as he slipped his head into the noose.
Julia watched with a smile as Kevin prepared himself.
“Good, Kevin, do it,” she egged him on.
Kevin then kicked away the chair, and in an instant, his neck was caught in the noose, his body convulsing as he struggled for breath.
Several minutes passed, and Kevin's body stilled; his life had slipped away.
Upon seeing Kevin's lifeless body, Julia’s spirit vanished from the storeroom.
Meanwhile, Erin, who had been waiting for Kevin in the cafeteria, grew anxious.
“Where is Kevin? He hasn’t shown up yet,” muttered an irritated Erin.
“Might as well call him,” she added, reaching for her phone.
Erin tried calling Kevin. The call connected but went unanswered. Kevin’s phone inside his pants pocket rang unanswered.
“Why isn’t he picking up?” sighed Erin.
Soon the bell rang and all the students returned to their respective classrooms, except for Kevin.
A teacher walked into Class XI C and noticed Kevin’s empty seat.
“Where's Kevin?” inquired the teacher.
“He might still be at the cafeteria, sir. He should be here soon,” Erin interjected, trying to cover for Kevin to prevent him from getting in trouble.
“Let's start the lesson and wait for him,” said the teacher as he began the class.
After 15 minutes with no sign of Kevin, the teacher directed Roy and Toni to look for him.
“Where is this boy? Roy, Toni, go find Kevin!” the teacher ordered.
“Sure, sir,” Toni replied.
"Yes, sir," echoed Roy.
They stood up, left the classroom, and set out to find Kevin.
“Toni, check the cafeteria, parking lot, and school backside; I'll look in the locker room, toilets, and other places,” Roy stated, dividing the search efforts.
“Right, Roy,” Toni acknowledged.
The two split up to search for Kevin.
Toni, finding no sign of Kevin in the cafeteria, proceeded to the parking lot and out back, where he encountered Ujang, the school guard.
“Mang Ujang, have you seen Kevin?" Toni inquired.
“No, I haven't seen him today,” replied Ujang.
“Okay, Mang, thanks anyway,” Toni replied and continued his search.
As for Roy, having looked everywhere to no avail, he left the locker room and ran into Toni.
“Did you find Kevin?” asked Roy.
"Not yet," Toni responded with a shake of his head.
"Where could he be?" Roy wondered aloud.
“Hey, do you have your phone, Toni? I left mine in my bag,” Roy asked.
“Here, take mine,” Toni said, passing his phone to Roy.
"Thanks, I'm glad I remembered Kevin's number," he said as he dialed on Toni's phone.
