Anadely Trhee is fighting with a sorcerer whom I suspect is the one who has broken all the spells to find us, but she is surrounded by two renegades, rendering her defenseless. And that's when the Lycan intercepts them, turning them into sacks of crushed flesh and bones.
I see the sorcerer casting his magic on him, but something happens that leaves me completely bewildered. Anadely Trhee is also surprised to see that none of the sorcerer's spells affect the Lycan, who is more than furious. It's impressive how his energy unfolds, and his anger can be felt in the air.
The Lycan approaches the sorcerer like a hunter approaching its prey, and the sorcerer pales upon realizing that the fierce monster is unscathed. When the sorcerer tries to escape, the Lycan captures him effortlessly and decapitates him with a single bite.
Everyone is petrified. Alenka and Dario, her mate, lower their heads, submitting to the Lycan who seems to have taken control of the pack. All the wolves and Lycans submit to him as he scans the area, raising his snout to the wind, searching for scents. He still desires blood, his hunger evident, and I can feel it.
He approaches Anadely Trhee in a dangerous manner, and I don't like it. It seems like he's claiming something from her, as his growl is reproachful. Kiara, being the most out of place, rushes to intervene between them, and I hope he recognizes me and doesn't leave me as a blood transfusion bag.
But he only focuses on Kiara, sniffing her carefully, occasionally threatening Anadely Trhee. However, he calms down when Kiara shows him affection, wagging her tail and gently licking his snout. "I think my wolf is quite the flirt with Lycans. We have a couple now, and she's kissing just about anyone," I think to myself.
He rises on his hind legs, displaying his enormous size, causing the rest to lower their heads in submission. I see Anadely Trhee kneeling and bowing her head to the ground. It has been established that this Lycan is the dominant one, and no one can rival him, not even the usurper.
The Lycan looks around at everyone, now subservient to his will, and emits a growl that is more like a roar, making us all tremble, as he has seized control of the territory in this moment. He drops down on all fours and disappears into the forest as if he hadn't just killed 10 renegades and a sorcerer in less than 10 minutes.
To be honest, he is an astonishing Lycan. He knows how to attack, and what impresses me the most is that none of the sorcerer's attacks have harmed him, not even remotely.
As he moves away, I enter Anadely Trhee's house and transform, hastily putting on the clothes I find. Then, I run out to help her, as she is still on the ground with her head down, motionless.
I call for Alenka, who is slightly injured but not severely, and ask her to take stock of the wounded, deceased, and what supplies we have to treat the injuries. Although we heal faster than normal due to our constitution, I don't want any infections that might delay the process.
Alenka immediately obeys me, and I ask Sadiel, who only has a cut on his forehead, to help Fenicia cast protection spells and conceal us, at least until we are ready to face another attack. He runs off to do as I've requested.
Lau approaches with her injured mate, so I ask her to take care of the wounded while tending to her mate. I then call upon two omegas to assist Lau in tending to the injured, who are taken to the infirmary.
Dario, Alenka's mate, is slightly hurt, but I ask him to gather available individuals and dispose of the renegades' and sorcerer's remains, sending them far away without any connection to us.
Anadely Trhee looks at me after recovering from the shock and embraces me emotionally, shedding tears. She says something that petrifies me and those nearby.
