(The estate looms ahead, all glass and steel, lit by cold security lights. Rin studies the perimeter from the shadows, earpiece crackling with Liam’s voice.)
Liam
Six guards outside, another four patrolling inside. Armed.
(Leon grins.)
Leon
Not much of a challenge.
Rin
Stay focused.
(He pulls out a suppressed pistol.)
Rin
We go in quiet.
Leon
And if things get loud?
Rin
Then we make it quick.
(With practiced ease, Rin moves first. A knife to the throat of the nearest guard, a silenced shot to the next. Leon watches, impressed, before taking out his own gun and following.)
(Leon whispers amused.)
Leon
Efficient.
Rin
Move.
(They slip through the main entrance. The halls are wide, expensive, but the security detail is light. Too light.)
Rin
Something’s wrong.
(Leon smirks.)
Leon
Elias always loved theatrics.
(As if on cue, alarms blare. Metal shutters slam down over the exits.)
Liam
Shit—he knew you were coming!
(Elias's voice goes through loudspeaker.)
Elias
Leon, Leon, Leon. Did you really think it’d be this easy?
(Leon smirks at a security camera.)
Leon
Oh, I was hoping for a challenge.
(Gunfire erupts from the stairwell. Rin pushes Leon into cover, bullets slamming into the marble walls. With a fluid motion, he returns fire, two bodies hitting the ground before they can even react.)
Leon
You really do have a talent for this.
Rin
Less talking. More shooting.
(They push forward, clearing room after room. Rin moves like a ghost, his shots precise, his movements calculated. Leon follows, matching his pace, a predator in his own right.)
(They reach a locked door.)
Leon
Elias is inside.
Rin
Then let’s end this.
(With a single powerful kick, the door flies open. Elias stands behind his desk, smiling, unbothered.)
