Jungkook was quieter, more thoughtful. He chose the room at the corner — with a balcony overlooking the Seoul skyline. Maybe because it reminded him of something from his past... something bittersweet.

First Day at Edelweiss Academy

The morning sun gleamed brightly over the towering white building of Edelweiss Academy. It looked more like a royal palace than a school — with sprawling gardens, fountains that danced under golden sunlight, and tall glass windows that caught every beam of light. Car doors opened one after another at the entrance; wealthy families, businessmen, officials — everyone seemed so polished, so proper.

Inside one sleek black car sat three siblings: Jungkook, Yoongi, and Jennie. Jackson and Jhope sat in front, watching their kids through the rearview mirror with affection and a trace of worry.

"Alright," * said, adjusting his tie slightly * "remember, you're not here to show off. Study well. Be yourselves."

Smiling warmly at them. "And don’t forget to eat your lunch, hm?"

Jungkook, wearing his neat uniform — navy blazer, white shirt, black tie, and polished shoes — nodded quietly.

Yoongi was beside him, slightly bouncing with nervous excitement.

Jennie, in her tiny neat skirt and white blouse, held her little pink backpack tightly.

"Ready?" * asked, unlocking the car.*

"Ready!" Yoongi and Jennie chimed together, excitement shining in their eyes.

As they stepped out, a few heads turned. It wasn't just because they were new — there was something about their aura, especially Jungkook’s calm but powerful presence, and Yoongi's sharp curiosity.

Their Class and Division: Jungkook: 5th Grade, Division B Yoongi: 3rd Grade, Division A Jennie: Upper Kindergarten (UKG Class Sunshine)

Inside the administration office, after brief paperwork, the receptionist smiled kindly.

"Welcome to Edelweiss Academy. You must be Jeon Jungkook, Jeon Yoongi, and Jeon Jennie. Don't worry, our student guides will help you today!"

A teenage boy in a senior uniform came forward for Jungkook. A sweet-looking girl for Yoongi. And a bubbly, kind young woman for Jennie.

At the 5th Grade Division B Classroom (Jungkook)

The classroom buzzed with early morning chatter. Students laughed, compared stationery, argued about Pokémon cards. Jungkook walked in with his guide, quiet, his sharp eyes scanning the room automatically. He could feel the energy, the different groups already formed — the popular kids, the shy ones, the ones pretending to be tough.

He stood near the teacher's desk, listening as the homeroom teacher introduced him.

"This is Jeon Jungkook. He's joining us from another city. I hope you all make him feel welcome."

A few curious glances, a few polite smiles — but Jungkook didn’t react. He bowed stiffly and took a seat near the window, where the morning light hit the desk perfectly.

Someone tried whispering behind him — "Woah, he’s kinda handsome." "Looks cold though..." "Maybe he’s one of those rich brats?"

Jungkook tuned it all out. He wasn’t here to be liked.

At the 3rd Grade Division A Classroom (Yoongi)

Yoongi’s experience was the complete opposite. He was immediately pulled into a group of boys excitedly talking about comic books. "You're new, right?!" one said. "Wanna see my rare card?!" another shouted.

*blinked, surprised but pleased. He grinned slightly and nodded.* "Sure!"

By lunch break, he had already made two friends — Seojin and Minho — who stuck to him like glue, chatting about everything from video games to crazy homework rumors.

At the Upper Kindergarten - Sunshine Class (Jennie)

"Your bag is so pretty!!" * happily squealed.*

Jennie

* Brightened up, shyly saying, *"Thank you... you’re pretty too."

Yuna grabbed her hand instantly like it was the most natural thing in the world.

"Let’s sit together! I’ll show you everything!"

Soon, Jennie was laughing, sitting on colorful mats, drawing pictures of houses and stars.

Lunchtime 🍽️

Jungkook arrived first, carrying his simple packed lunch. He sat alone on the stone bench, watching students play around with a guarded gaze.

Soon, Yoongi came running, waving excitedly.

"Hyung!!" he called. "Guess what? I made TWO friends already!"

He plopped down beside Jungkook, opening his lunchbox.

"They're so cool! They love Pokémon just like me! You should meet them!"

* Gave a small smile.* "That's good, Yoongi."

Then Jennie came, almost skipping towards them,

"Oppaaa!" she squealed

"Yuna is sooo nice!! She gave me a sticker!! Look!" 👀

She proudly showed a sparkly butterfly sticker on her hand.

"Whoa 😮, you're popular too, Jennie!"

Jungkook

*gaze softened slightly at the sight of his smiling siblings.* "I'm glad,"

Yoongi

"But hyung,"* tilted his head * "did you make any friends?"

Jungkook

"Not really."

Yoongi

* Pouted dramatically 😗 * "Why not?! You’re cool!"😎

Jennie

"Oppa is the coolest!!" * declared.*

Yoongi

"Even cooler than the fountain!" *he added, making Jennie giggle.*

Jungkook chuckled lightly, feeling warmth spread inside his chest. Maybe he didn’t need anyone else. As long as he had these two, he was fine.

Later — After Classes

As they waited near the gates for their car, Jennie chattered non-stop about the pretty drawing class. Yoongi went on and on about how he wanted to join the chess club because his friend Seojin did.

Jungkook listened patiently, occasionally nodding, his sharp eyes watching their surroundings instinctively.

That's when he felt it — a presence. Someone was staring at him.

He turned slightly — and there he was. Across the other side of the gate, standing under the huge cherry blossom tree, was a boy.

Dark messy hair. Long limbs. Cold, detached eyes.

Taehyung ?

Their gazes locked for a brief second. Jungkook’s heart skipped.

The world around him blurred. He couldn’t hear Yoongi’s chatter, couldn’t feel Jennie tugging his sleeve. It was just… him.

Jungkook blinked, snapping out of it.

Yoongi

"Hyung?" * asked, tugging his sleeve.* "What happened?"

Jungkook

"Nothing," *said, shaking his head lightly.*

Jungkook

[ Maybe I am just tired... That's why imaging him as he is here... How can Taehyung be here... ]

Jungkook

[ But why does it feel like he was here.... Damn it ! , Jungkook what are you thinking... That's impossible ! ..]

But deep inside, something had shifted.
