Taehyung, curled up in the sunroom with a book, looked up and smiled as the little whirlwind rushed in, arms flailing and holding a crayon-scribbled paper.

There you are, my little lovebug. (he cooed, setting the book down)

The child practically leapt into his lap.

Look! I made this for you and Appa~ 😆
Taehyung took the wrinkled paper, heart swelling at the drawing: three stick figures holding hands. One was in pink, the second had a crown, and the smallest had a big round head with sparkles around it.

Uh-huh! 😍 (Their son beamed) That’s me, and you, and Appa! See? I drawed sparkles ‘cause you say I’m your star.” 😎

Saying so Tae pampered the little prince's face with lots of kisses to which baby tae giggled.
Later, In the royal garden…
Jungkook sat on the swing Taehyung had forced the royal carpenter to build for “family bonding.” He was reading documents when small hands climbed up his legs.

Only for you! (He placed it on Jungkook’s head carefully, his chubby fingers patting it down)

How do I look? (Jungkook asked, posing dramatically)

(Jungkook snorted and scooped him up) You’re the only prince in this palace.

Nuh-uh! You said My Eomma’s the queen! 😤

Taehyung arrived just in time to hear this and leaned on the pillar, arms crossed and eyes soft.

(Their son giggled, leaning over and kissing Jungkook’s cheek loudly) I lub you, Appa~ 😘

Muah~ (Taehyung walked over, dropping a kiss on both their heads)

Not fair. (their son pouted) …I want cuddles from both! 😤
Right there, in the middle of the royal garden, the future king, his omega mate, and their baby star, wrapped up in giggles and sunshine.
Their son, already in silk pajamas covered in little clouds, refused to sleep.

Eomma, sing my song. (he said in his sleepy voice)
Taehyung rocked him gently, seated on the edge of the bed, humming the lullaby he always sang when their son was still inside his belly.

The child’s lashes fluttered, his head drooping as Taehyung’s voice softened. Just before sleep took him, he mumbled.

Tell Appa… I want pancakes in the morning… (said in his sleep with a cute baby voice)

(Taehyung laughed softly, placing a kiss on his tiny forehead) Of course, my prince~ 😘
Jungkook appeared in the doorway, leaning on the frame with his arms crossed and an unbearably fond smile on his face.

Not possible. He has your pout.

(Jungkook walked in and pulled Taehyung into his arms) We made him.

(Taehyung leaned against him) He’s our happy ending.

Maybe~ 😌😎 (their son giggled, hiding behind the dining chair, getting all shy all of sudden)
Taehyung and Jungkook looked at each other.
Their life wasn’t filled with balls or carriages anymore.
It was filled with giggles, messy hair, half-burnt pancakes, sticky kisses, bedtime songs, tiny shoes, and lots and lots of cuddles.
The prince found his mate.
The omega found his freedom.
And together… they built a home of magic, not made of spells or slippers.. But of love.
And always.. adorably bratty.
