The royal court gathered in hushed silence.
Lady Eunji, Minho, and Jaehyun knelt on the cold marble floor of the palace judgment hall, their heads bowed.. not in shame, but in fear. They were no longer dressed in fine silks and golden rings. Their once-proud faces were stripped of arrogance, now pale under the piercing stares of nobles, guards, and most importantly.. Prince Jeon Jungkook.
And seated beside him, hand gently clasped in his, was the delicate omega they had once called a servant. Now, he wore fine royal robes of ivory and gold, a sapphire brooch at his throat, and a quiet, graceful strength in his expression.

(Lady Eunji choked, sweat beading her forehead)

Guards stepped forward, grabbing them by the arms.

As they were dragged out, screaming, Taehyung remained quiet. He didn’t gloat. He didn’t laugh.
He simply exhaled. And Jungkook looked at him with pride.

That evening, the palace prepared a feast.. not for foreign kings or royal alliances, but for Taehyung.
Gold streamers decorated the great hall. Flower petals dusted the marble floor. The scent of jasmine and sweet incense filled the air, and the nobles bowed as the omega entered at Jungkook’s side.

(Taehyung, unsure, whispered)

Because they’ve never seen someone so beautiful. (Jungkook replied, brushing his thumb along Taehyung’s jaw)

(Taehyung blushed and leaned in, whispering) You’re too good at this.

(Jungkook smirked, low and soft) Only for you.
They sat at the royal table, sharing bites of sugared fruit and wine. Jungkook never once let go of his hand. He introduced Taehyung to every duke and general, and when whispers rose among the court about Taehyung’s past, Jungkook shut them down with a single look.
That night, as the stars spilled across the sky, Taehyung sat on the palace balcony wrapped in a warm robe, hair down, eyes reflecting the moonlight.
Jungkook joined him with two cups of warm milk and honey.

You’re getting used to royal life? (he asked, sitting close)

(Taehyung smiled softly) It still feels like a dream.

(Jungkook leaned in, lips brushing against Taehyung’s softly) Then it’s yours.
They kissed under the moonlight, long and slow, hands laced tightly, hearts syncing with each breath. And in that moment, the once-forgotten omega and the lonely prince realized…
And nothing.. not cruelty, not blood, not status.. could ever tear them apart.
