Taehyung hadn’t gotten out of bed in two days.
But because he was nesting.
He lay tangled in seven silk blankets, surrounded by pillows, Jungkook’s oversized shirts, and three of the royal plush tigers gifted by visiting kingdoms.
His scent filled the room.. soft vanilla and something warmer now. Sweeter. Jungkook had caught it first.

Now, three weeks later, nesting instincts had taken over.
And Jungkook? He was going insane.

Inside, it looked like a royal storm had hit. Blankets, velvet drapes, cushions from other rooms, all dragged into one giant fluffy kingdom in the center of the bed. And right in the middle..
Taehyung, rounder now, with sleepy eyes and his hands on his tummy.

(Jungkook smiled) You’ve added more layers again.

(Taehyung blinked lazily) I needed them. The baby likes soft.

(Jungkook walked in carefully, arms full of snacks) You said the baby liked mangoes yesterday.

Ne.. (Jungkook shook his head left and right and then climbed in beside him, offering a slice of fruit)

(Taehyung ate it slowly, eyes fluttering) I like when you feed me.

(Jungkook brushed a thumb over his cheek) I like when you let me.

(Taehyung wriggled closer into his arms, nuzzling his mate’s chest)

There. A tiny flutter. So small, but so alive.

(Jungkook smiled against his belly) You’re the original brat. No one could ever top you. 😘
The castle adapted once again. Royal meetings were moved. Guards tiptoed past their chambers. Royal advisors sighed as Jungkook skipped sessions just to lie beside his mate. Because nothing mattered more than Taehyung. And nothing felt more magical than the quiet thump of a second heartbeat inside him.
They had lived their fairytale.
And now.. they were building a new one. Together.
