(gently) Hey, you okay? Did he hurt you?
Amyra Winston(2nd Fl/Dominant Omega)
(shaking her head) No, I... I’m fine.
Ashi picks up the fallen pepper spray, handing it back to Amyra. The fear she’d been holding back spilled over as her legs felt weak beneath her.
Amyra Winston(2nd Fl/Dominant Omega)
(voice trembling) "Ashi… How did you…?"
Ashi brushed imaginary dust off her jacket, her expression unreadable, as if the confrontation had been nothing more than an errand

(calmly)Just happened to be passing by. Lucky timing, I guess.
But before she could say more, Amyra suddenly moved forward and threw her arms around Ashi, burying her face against her shoulder

(muffled, through quiet sobs) I-I was so scared… I didn’t know what to do… If you hadn’t come…
She moved forward, collapsing into Ashi’s arms. Amyra clung to her tightly, her face buried against Ashi’s chest, her tears soaking into the fabric of her jacket
Ashi tensed, unaccustomed to the sudden vulnerability. For a moment, she stood still, unsure of what to do. Then, slowly, her arms came around Amyra, pulling her into a firm yet gentle embrace

(softly, with an edge of protectiveness) Hey… it’s over. You’re safe now. No one’s going to hurt you while I’m around.
Amyra’s sobs subsided slightly, though she didn’t let go. Her voice was muffled but filled with emotion

If you hadn’t come… I don’t even want to think about what would’ve happened

How did you even find me? That guy… he knew you. He was terrified of you
Ashi gently pulled back, her hands resting on Amyra’s shoulders, her expression unreadable but her eyes intense

Who… who even are you, Ashi?
Ashi’s expression darkened, her jaw tightening. She gently disentangled herself from Amyra’s grip and took a step back, her hands stuffed into her pockets

(a bit slowly) I’m just an orphan, Amyra. I grew up in this messed-up world, and I had to learn how to survive. There’s nothing extraordinary about me

And, I’m just someone who doesn’t like seeing innocent people getting hurt. That’s all you need to know
Amyra frowned, sensing there was more to the story, but she didn’t push further

But… you showed up just in time. How did you even know I was here?
Ashi glanced away, her voice nonchalant but her jaw tightening.

Just happened to be nearby. Call it sheer luck
Amyra wasn’t convinced, but her gratitude overwhelmed her suspicion

Thank you Ashi. If you hadn’t been there…

Stop thanking me already. Just don’t wander around alone at night, okay?
Amyra nodded silently, still shaken

(sighing) Come on. I’ll walk you home. You’re not staying out here by yourself
The walk to Amyra’s house was quiet, the tension between them unspoken but palpable. Amyra occasionally glanced at Ashi, wondering what secrets lay behind her calm exterior
When they reached Amyra’s doorstep, Ashi stopped and gestured toward the door
