CURSED BY MOON, BOUNDED BY BLOOD
chapter 49
With a flick of her wrist, the tendrils pull Patrick toward her. He’s frozen in place, his golden eyes wide as Rose’s magic begins to weave around him like a shroud. Grimalkin leaps to intervene but is swatted away by a shadow beast. Michael, standing on the edge of the battlefield, hesitates, his expression torn. Rose notices and sneers.

(to Michael)
"You’ve always wanted her, haven’t you? Your precious Lily? Then take her. She’s yours now—if you can handle what she’s become."
Rose sends a pulse of magic into Michael. He collapses, writhing as his form begins to twist. His shadow stretches unnaturally, his eyes glowing a haunting green. His obsession over Lily, buried deep, is brought to the surface, corrupting him entirely. When he rises, he’s no longer human—his form is monstrous, a reflection of his darkest desires.

(growling, his voice distorted)
"Lily… you were always supposed to be mine."
Lily steps back, horrified, as Michael approaches. Grimalkin tries to intervene but is caught in a web of shadows. Rose, meanwhile, pulls Patrick into a portal of swirling darkness, disappearing with him. Lily screams.
