As the family gathered for breakfast, Mr. Jeon entered, smiling at his grandchildren. His eyes softened at the sight of Minseo in his wife’s arms.

After a quick breakfast, Mingyu , Taeyeon and mina said their goodbyes.

Thanks for watching Minseo today, Mom and dad. We’ll be back by evening.

Mrs. Jeon waved him off with a smile.

Mina, excited for her school day, ran to grab her bag.

As Taeyeon and Mingyu left, hand in hand, the house settled back into its usual routine.

For now, there was nothing but quiet, the calm before whatever life would bring next.

The afternoon sunlight streamed through the classroom windows as Taehyung stood at the front of the room.

Passionately explaining the finer details of impressionist art to his students.

The classroom was filled with the quiet hum of concentration, brushes sweeping across paper, when a faint vibration from his phone caught his attention.

His phone had been buzzing non-stop for the last few minutes, its screen lighting up in his bag.

He frowned slightly, unsure of who could be calling during his work hours.

It was in silent mode, so he hadn’t realized how persistent the calls had been.

Taehyung hesitated for a moment but decided to check, politely excusing himself from the classroom.

Stepping into the empty hallway, Taehyung unlocked his phone and saw several missed calls from his mother.

A wave of unease washed over him. His mother rarely called more than once unless it was something important.

His stomach twisted with worry as he pressed the call button to return her call.

The moment the call connected, he was greeted by the sound of his mother’s heart-wrenching sobs.

The noise on the other end sent a jolt of panic through his chest, freezing him in place. He pressed the phone harder against his ear, his voice trembling.
