Suddenly, I saw a shadow... A shadow of the monster.

The monster rushed towards her. No! I shouted.

I open my eyes. I was sweating. My entire body was shaking with fear.

"Are you okay?" Zeraf asked me. He stopped the car and began to check me. I know he is a doctor. He checked my pulse and brought me water.

"Did you take the medicine I gave you?" he asked me.

"I forgot," I told him.

"You stupid girl, how many times have I told you to take the medicine?" he pinched my cheeks.

"Ouch, I am sorry... Spare me," I begged him to let me go.

He smacked my head, then pulled over the car in front of a supermarket.

We both got down. We entered the supermarket. While I was buying vegetables for dinner, he bought medicine for me. Those are the pills for my depression.

When I was 18 years old, something bad happened. I can't remember at that age. All I remember is Uncle Zeraf's father treated me for depression. Those are the medicines. If I didn't take the medicine, I always have nightmares of something. It's terrifying. I had the medicine in front of him. "Good girl," he patted my head.

I blushed for no reason. We have been like this since childhood. He always takes care of me. That's why I fell in love with him. He is just like my loving father. I told my dad and his dad about my crush, and they both approved. All I have to do now is confess to him properly. But the thing is, I don't know how he sees me.

What if he sees me as his own sister? I am doomed for sure. Then it will be awkward. I am so afraid. I looked at him, and he was busy buying vegetables. I took my favorite chocolate box. While I was staring at it, he came near to me.

"Do you remember something, Eva?" he asked. I closed my eyes and tried to remember something. A guy gave me the same chocolate brand and told me "I love you." But that guy's face is blurry. After all, it was at the age of 18. Damn.

"No," I told him. I was surprised to see how close he was to me. What a perfect position to kiss, I thought. His perfume engulfed me. I unconsciously looked at his lips and bit mine. Damn, what am I thinking?

I backed off. He was busy staring at the chocolate box.

He suddenly seemed dull.

"What happened?" I thought.

Then we paid our bill. Of course, he didn't let me pay.

What a gentleman. When I insisted, he told me, "Then buy me this chocolate box."

Damn, he stole my chocolate and was humming happily.

I pouted for no reason.

I could see he was in a good mood today. What happened?

Suddenly, he got a phone call. He attended the call.

Unfortunately, it was connected to his car's Bluetooth. On the display, I saw the name "Miranda colin ." Damn that woman. She was a coworker and a relative of the Zeraf family. She's after my man.

I felt jealous and angry for no reason. He was talking to her sweetly. I got irritated. That woman has no shame. She's flirting with him.There is no end to them. Suddenly, I snatched the chocolate box from him and boldly opened it. Then I enjoyed the chocolate in front of him.

He was surprised to see that. Now his only focus was the chocolate I am eating. Suddenly I got an idea.

I opened the chocolate in front of him and gestured as if I wanted to feed it to him. Unconsciously, he agreed. I was about to feed him my chocolate, but then I teasingly ate it myself. I repeated the same thing. Honestly, he lost his composure and hung up the call.

I provoked him so many times. It was fun to tease him. Honestly, we both were acting like children. He begged me to feed him, but I refused. I almost finished the chocolate. Then, at last, I opened the final chocolate. I only bit a small piece, provoking him by pretending to chew the entire chocolate. Suddenly, he pulled over the car. I realized we had reached home. I tried to open the door, but unfortunately, it was locked.

Oh, shit...

I feel his breath. I gulped and turned around, the chocolate is still in my mouth. I know he was looking at that. The smoky eyes of him driving me for no reason. But I love the fact that when he was mad, he is super hot. He pinned me, I looked at his eyes, he began to talk like this,

"Ange, you have my full attention, now it's my turn to eat the chocolate."

I was frozen for a moment. Finally, it's happening.

My first kiss. I closed my eyes... I was prepared for this moment. Should I confess to him now? My entire brain was exploding. He began to move a little closer to my lips.Suddenly his phone rang. In that panic, I swallowed the entire chocolate.

Damn... Everything is ruined. He cursed the phone and took the call. Inside of the call, he was shouting.

I am too disappointed. I feel sorrow and anger for no reason. He unlocked the door while answering the call.

I got out of the car and then entered my house, hoping for something better.

When I got in front of the door, Zeref was still in the car. I rang the doorbell, but no one answered.

I felt it strange. Normally, my dad would be here. He is now a retired officer. He spends his time here only. I checked the door and it's unlocked. Then I entered the hall only to see the flooded house.

# Water is everywhere in my hall and its color is red. The bloody red.
