Chapter one: what a nightmare

"Why Are you doing this, I'm your friend."

This young woman pleated on her knees bowed to this man's feet with her head pressed down to the ground. Her body trembled and her once natural silky brown hair was now filthy full of grease, with dirt and gravel. She couldn't stand anymore nor was her body able to fight. she wore long black boots, she had a white skirt and a black long-sleeved shirt, but Her clothes are torn apart leaving hardly anything while her arms shook and pulsed in pain having nothing but deep cuts and dark bruises. scarlet blood flowed down her arms and legs while she struggled to move. She slowly lifted her head to look at the men. Tears streamed down her face. She could hear Screams and cries of pure fear filling the city as Explosions by the second erupted. one after the other, buildings fuming in flames with thick black smoke rising causing the atmosphere to thicken making everything harder to see, people losing their sense of direction falling into cracked streets or trying to escape the explosions. Some succeeded some did not. Everything became chaos... All because of this man. One man started it all. "friend? I I have no friends. All I lived with my whole life where people claiming to be my friend yet are nothing but backstabbers, I'm betrayed continuously and it's time to show my wrath. You don't know me like you think you do." The man spoke hatefully back at this woman. He knelt down and wrapped his cold right hand around her throat and viciously lifted her up and walked forward and slammed her against the wall, then pushed her up against it. He began to smile. His eyes, full of bloodthirst and hatred. They appeared so bloodshot because he hasn’t slept in 4 days, his pupils were black. His hair fell down to his shoulders with some hair cutting halfway through his face. He was wearing black baggy pants full of knives and swords that were hidden. He wore black leather boots and a black shirt that said ‘life is good’.

He looked at this girl tensely while she held on to his wrists struggling to breathe. " St....op." she barely spoke losing airflow. The man tilted his head looking at her then drops her to the ground. She coughed and gasped for air. Tears filled her eyes rapidly knowing the fact he almost killed her. She began breathing heavily shaking in fear. She kept her head down staring at the ground as she didn’t want to look at him anymore. He became someone different than who she once knew. He looked at her and knelt down, and with aggression takes ahold of her face lifting her face forcing her to look at him directly into his eyes. ”stay away from me.” he told her before standing up turning around and walked away until he isn’t in sight anymore.

Now this girl, she watched him leave with no life in her eyes before she fell unconscious collapsing to the cold ground. Her wounds kept bleeding causing her body to turn Pail. She began dying on her own slowly. No one around her cared to help her, they feared death and wanted to save their own lives. This girl eventually died from heartbreak and affection from wounds. The fire around her inched closer she was so hopeless with no hope left. She had left after a brutal reality.

Her name is known to be Sarah.

She was this man's best friend, she was someone who knew every secret, she loved him deep down within her heart but to scared to admit it. Now her fate has come for her. A lover killed by her own best friend she was the closest to. Her body laid until the fire around her finally reached her, she burned until she became ashes.

This man his name is Kaleb, he was once happy, full of life and joy.

He loved his family, he loved his friends. The older he got the more he wanted to try new things. And those new things lead him astray.

As he walked down the city looking at everything burning, he let out a tear of heartache and screamed at the top of his lungs. He collapsed on his knees and pleaded to God to help him. He stayed humbled before god for three hours before he gave up. “You know God if you were real, you wouldn't let me live like this." He yelled and screamed in frustration and anger.

He searched for answers to his pain. He searched for hope and love. He pondered and thought long and hard. His mind was in a dark place. He didn’t want to feel pain anymore. He didn’t want to feel broken anymore. He battled depression and the desire to murder. All he has ever known in his life was betrayal and drugs.

He stood back up and places his hands in his pockets only to look down to his left side pulling out a piece of paper that Sarah had slide into his pocket before he set everything on fire and beat her. He unfolded it and read it. “You gotta friend in me forever goomba.” His eyes widened as he began to remember something. He looked back and ran back to the last place he left Sarah. He searched and searched before he realized she wasn't there but in a pile of Ash. Kaleb began to scream. “What have I done.?!!."

*beep beep beep beep beep beep *

The alarm keeps going off until a hand slowly reaches over with a slight tremble pushing the off bottom. "damn." Kaleb said to himself sitting up from his sleep. His body trembled as he reached for his phone dialed a number and pushed call.

Sarah was walking to the bus stop by then. She felt her little flip phone vibrate. She stopped and pulled it from her pocket and looked at it, smiled and answered it. “good morning, you overslept again didn't you?"

Kaleb smiled "yeah, just needed your voice, listen I need to talk later at lunch." his voice sounded scared and worried. It made Sarah frown a little as she replied with concern in her voice “Yeah, are you ok? You sound like something’s bothering you .” She started walking faster so she didn’t miss the bus. Kaleb stayed silent for a few seconds before he spoke again. “ see ya soon. “ he hung up and left Sarah in question. She got on the bus and sat in the back of the bus. She begins to worry about Kaleb. She looked out the window and spaced out. Kaleb finished getting dressed combed his hair and grabbed his keys leaving his room. As he walked out of his house he looked up and thought .” what a nightmare .”
