...Arya Narrating...
I woke up the following morning with the sound of the shower. I stretched and sat up in bed, still sleepy. The door opened, and there he was. I bit my lip when I saw him. This man is gorgeous, and hot. It was hard to stay mad at him. Damian stared at me as if he could read my mind.
"Everything okay?" he asked me with a smile.
"Yes, it is. I didn't hear you arrive yesterday," I said, maintaining my composure.
"I just got here."
"Where did you spend the night?"
"As far away from you as I could. Don't worry, I'm fine. You stopped bleeding; I could smell your scent from miles before I arrived."
"Yeah, I took a potion to stop it. I forgot to take it before."
"And who did you get it from?"
"Get what?"
"The potion. Who did you get it from?"
"Oh, in my town. I have a friend who's a warlock."
"When all this is over, I want to go to your village. I want to meet your parents, your friends."
"Can we talk about this later?"
"Why do I feel like you're hiding something from me?"
"I have nothing to hide. When this is all over, we'll talk about it, okay?"
"Okay, now come here," he says, grabbing me.
"I don't want to argue with you anymore," I say, looking into his eyes.
"Me neither. Let's make this work, okay?"
"Okay!" I answer, and he kisses me.
Minutes later, we are ready. We eat something quick and get back on the road. The hours go by quickly, and Damian goes even faster. We reach Garden shortly before nightfall; the gates open, and we enter.
Everything was beautiful; the garden was splendid. I had never seen such a beautiful place. When we arrived at the castle where Morgana lived, I thought I couldn't be more impressed.
We parked and got out, and then I saw a beautiful woman walking towards us. Her hair was dark, as was her skin. She was beautiful. Her green eyes were analyzing me, and the way she looked at me was different from any other look I had ever received.
"Welcome to Garden," she says, bowing before us.
"Thank you, Morgana. Could we talk?" Damian asks.
"Of course! Right this way!" She speaks and leads us in.
When we entered, I was even more enchanted. We settled in, and her apprentice served us tea.
"So, to what do I owe the honor, Alpha?" she asked, taking her tea.
"I need your help."
"I'm listening."
"I know about the prophecy, and I remember what you told me, but I found my mate. This is Arya."
"Arya? Hmm… I see. And what can I do to help?"
"I know about your potions and your methods that can help. I came for her wolf."
"I'm sorry, I can't."
"What did you say?"
"You can stay here tonight, but I can't offer you anything more than that."
"Are you doing this because of the prophecy?"
"No, there are things we cannot interfere with. We have to let it take its course. I'm sorry, dear Arya. Make yourselves comfortable; I have things to do. Oh, dinner will be served in two hours. We have a beautiful lake here," she says, looking at me.
Damian is silent, and then I go to him, sitting on his lap.
"Don't be like that. I already knew this was going to happen, so it wasn't a disappointment to me."
"How can it not be? I want to help you, and I don't know how. I thought I could by bringing you here, but I was wrong. We wasted time."
"A great mage already tried to bring my wolf once, but after he did that, he got sick."
"How so?"
"My best friend is a warlock. I was always a joke at my school. One day, I was venting to Lucius. His father saw my despair; I was almost seventeen and hadn't shifted yet, so his father cast a spell, but it didn't work. The spell hit me and came back to him quickly, striking him."
"And what happened?"
"Nothing at that moment, but over the months he started to get weak. I never told anyone; it just stayed between the three of us."
"But is he okay?"
"I don't know. I hope some of your potions worked."
"We can go see him if you want," Damian says, taking me by surprise.
"I'll think about it. Now take me to the lake; I want to swim."
"All right, let's go."
We walk through the gardens, and everything is beautiful. We get to the lake, and I'm breathless. I take off my clothes and get in the water.
"Aren't you coming in? The water is lovely."
"Why are you provoking me?"
"I didn't mean to."
"You take your clothes off in front of me and say you didn't mean to?"
I give a mischievous smile and dive into the lake. Damian begins to undress and comes up to me. We play and tease each other.
"We could stay here forever, just you and me," he says and kisses me.
"You don't know how much I want that."
"When we get back, I'm going to give you a wonderful first time."
"What do you mean by that?"
"You were a virgin, and I didn't give you a proper first time. I want to do something special for you."
"Just being with you makes everything special."
"I love you, Arya."
"I love you too."
I kiss him, and we make love. We spent a long time there, then we went back to the castle. Morgana's apprentice takes us to the room, and we get ready for dinner. We go downstairs, and everything here is perfect.
"I hear they are going to attack the South again," Morgana says, taking a sip of her wine.
"You heard? From whom?" Damian asks.
"The birds, they always sing too much," she replies.
"The Birds? Is that some kind of riddle?" I say smiling.
"It's no riddle, dear. The birds told me," she says seriously.
"I understand. I'm sorry; I didn't mean to be rude," I say awkwardly.
"It's okay!"
"Well, I'm satisfied. Everything was wonderful."
"I'm glad you liked it. My apprentice is trying very hard to please me."
"Did she do something wrong to want to please you?"
"Yes!"
"I hope you can forgive her after this dinner; everything was wonderful," I say.
"I liked it too. Besides, if you want to know, she lied to me. She wanted to hide something important from me," Morgana says and drinks her wine.
Her comment makes me serious. I take a sip of my water and remain silent.
"But nothing stays hidden for long. Now she is paying the consequences," Damian says, catching me off guard.
"Well, if you don't mind, I think I'm going to bed," I say, getting up.
"Sweet dreams, dear," Morgana says.
"Thank you."
"I'll join you soon," Damian says, giving me a smile.
I go upstairs and start getting ready for bed, thinking about what Morgana said. Maybe she knows where I come from. I went to the balcony and sat down, hugging my legs. I didn't know how much longer I could hide this. I looked up at the sky and asked the Goddess to show me a solution.
After a while, there was a knock on the door. I knew it wasn't Damian. If it were him, he would have already entered. I got up and opened the door, and there she was, Morgana!
