Episode 13

...Damian narrating...

She's incredible, tailor-made for me!

I wasn't expecting her to give herself to me easily, she was stronger than I imagined, we were at each other's throats on that street and she refused me, keeping her control, I would have lost myself in her at that moment if she hadn't pushed me away.

Now, what happened here in this room was wonderful, I felt our connection, she had enormous power over me, I was no longer mine, I belonged to her, there was only one problem, Princess Selena, and if she returned, I don't know if we would have such a strong connection as I have with Arya.

I laid her down on the bed and she soon fell asleep, I stayed a while longer admiring her before leaving, Bless didn't want to, and neither did I, but it was necessary for now.

...Arya narrating...

The next morning I woke up thinking it was all a dream, but it wasn't, I was alone, naked, and sore.

I sat up in bed and memories of the night before came flooding back, I shook my head trying to push them away even though I knew it would be in vain.

Knock knock.

"Hi, can I come in?" Liana said.

"Just a minute." I got up, got dressed quickly, and opened the door.

"Good morning, can I come in?" Liana asked.

"Good morning, of course, you can!" I said, making way for her, who came in with a smile on her lips.

"What was that? Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked, and she sat down on the bed, facing me.

"I saw the alpha leaving your room very early." She said, smiling.

"Yes, that's..."

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." Liana said when she saw that I couldn't form a sentence.

"Did you hear us?" I asked, embarrassed.

"No, yuck. The walls are thin, but they're charmed, we don't want to bother anyone, do we?"

She smiled and I threw a pillow at her.

"It was my mother's idea."

"You miss her, don't you?"

"Very much, I want to be as good a warrior as she was."

"I can help you with that, if you want."

"You fight?" Liana asked, impressed.

"A little."

"A little is not enough, Arya."

"Do you have training areas here?"

"Are you kidding? Of course, we do."

"Can we go there now?"

"Not in the morning, the warriors use it in the morning and in the afternoon it's us, the populace, sometimes they train in the afternoon, if we're lucky we might bump into them there."

"We'll go in the afternoon then."

"Great, now let's have coffee, oh, and don't think I've forgotten our conversation." She said, looking at me with a smile forming on her lips.

"Don't ask me questions, let's go now." I said, pushing her out of the room.

We had coffee while Liana told me about her mother, I listened very carefully, she said that her mother had disappeared more than a month ago, other wolves had also disappeared before her, they thought the South had taken them, and I knew this was a big lie, we had no prison there, not that kind of prison.

It was just her father, her grandmother, and her, I helped her clean and prepare lunch, she wouldn't stop talking and that was good, I had a source of news right here.

I was cutting up some vegetables when I finally worked up the courage to ask.

"Liana, why did the attacks on the South start?"

"We're not allowed to talk about that." She whispered.

"Why not?"

"That subject is only disrespectful to the king, well our old king."

"Old King? Damian's father?"

"No."

She looked around and approached me.

"Damian is our alpha, handpicked by the Moon Goddess, King Louis passed on his crown when he turned 16." She said quietly.

"So young, wow."

"Yes, we can't talk about this here."

"The king didn't have any children?"

"Don't you even know the history of the North?"

"No."

"I hope the meal is not delayed!" Leonard said, entering the kitchen.

"It won't be, Dad." Liana replied quickly.

We went back to what we were doing after Leonard interrupted us, but I was more curious than ever to know what Liana was going to tell me, we finished lunch and served it, I would ask her the first chance I got.

Which didn't happen, I never thought an inn could be so much work, how did she manage it all by herself, her grandmother was old and her father helped as much as he could.

I went up to my room and straight to the bathroom, got ready, and went down to find Liana.

"We'll be right back, Dad!"

"Don't be late."

"Don't worry." She said, and we left.

We walked leisurely until we reached the training area, it was well structured here, we entered, and I felt their eyes on us.

"Don't worry about them, you're new meat, they'll get used to you." Liana nudged my arm.

"I'm counting on it." I replied.

We walked and saw some movement.

"Arya, they're here, the warriors, come on, let's go." Liana pulled me.

We settled in and I saw Damian, I couldn't smell him, he was camouflaging, but why? Maybe he didn't want me chasing him, I was confused, nothing good was going through my head, I shook it off, it wasn't the time or place.

His eyes were on me, I tried not to look at him, I focused on the women fighting, and yet I could still feel his eyes on me.

"Romana is a great warrior, that one there won't stand a chance against her." Liana said excitedly.

I watched her defeat one, two, three, four, and in all of them, this Romana faced Damian, I knew there was something there, I felt immense anger just thinking about that possibility, my body was burning, but I needed to control myself.

"Anyone else here want to learn?" Romana shouted with her hands in the air and a wide smile on her face.

Silence reigned, so I stood up.

"What are you doing? She'll destroy you." Liana said, grabbing my hand.

"Have a little faith in me." I said and walked down the stairs.

I reached the ring and stood in front of her.
