David's P.O.V.

Finally on day of discharge i was wondering how to ask her again if she can come with me to my place. Just when i was gathering my courage, Grace said that she will come to my house. I was shocked because yesterday when i asked her she didn't reply. Maybe she gave a thought to idea and giving the answer now. I was happy to hear her reply. I said that it will be my honour to help her, which was true. Then we went towards her apartment. It was bigger than mine. She had a lot of luggage. After that we went towards my apartment. I unlocked the door. I was feeling so shy that i was not able to hide it.This was my first time to bring a girl to my place.Just when i kept my bag on the table my phone rang. It was from one of the companies i have applied for job. I went out to talk as i wanted Grace to see the place and be comfortable. I crossed my fingers and picked up the call.

Mr. Watson we are sorry to say but you did not qualify in the interview round. Well this was expected. I just thanked him and sat on the bench. I was immersed in my own thoughts. After some time i went towards my apartment and heard Grace talking to someone. Just when i was about to open the door i heard Grace say that she will go back to New York in 2 days.

2 days, my happiness will only last for 2 days. My heart ached after hearing this. I knew some or the other day she will go back to where she belong but 2 days was unexpected for me. I made myself look normal and went inside. Then i asked her to shower. Till then i decided to make lunch. I made Indian cuisine and hoped that Grace will like it. I was done with my chores and then cleaned the floors. I then went to fresh up myself. Lot of time passed by, Grace didn't come out. I wondered if everything was ok. I opened the door to ask her to come for lunch and whatever i saw after that was tempting for me. She was removing her bathrobe such that her chest was exposed towards me. Her hairs were still wet. But i reacted faster and closed the door. My heart please stop pounding so fastly. I literally forgot that the door's lock didn't work and i din't mind fixing it because i was the only one living here. Later Grace came out from the bedroom. It was a little awkward situation for but of us. I kept the dishes on the floor. She asked me where are we going to sit. and i went on telling her that we'll sit on the floor. I explained her my whole theory and she was looking at me intensely like she was memorizing my each and every word. Then i apologized her for not asking about her preferences and making dishes according to my taste, to which she replied that she also like Indian cuisine and paneer butter masala is her favorite. I was so happy to hear that the food was unexpectedly her favorite.We started eating. Grace was looking very cute while eating. The way she ate was very funny but at the same time very cute. I saw that there was something on her lips. Involuntarily my hand went towards her mouth and wiped the food on her lips. I was feelings very hot inside me. I don't know when but when i got back my senses i was so close to her face. I saw her brown eyes. I felt like going deeper and deeper into her eyes. So much enchanting her eyes were. Suddenly i realised what i was doing and came back to my position. I cleared my throat amd said -" Sorry if you felt uncomfortable. I was just... "

"You don't have to explain it. Its ok. I was the one who was eating like there is no tomorrow." she said.We both laughed at the situation.
