Grace's P.O.V.

In morning when it was time for discharge I asked David if it will really be ok if i live with him for few days. He seemed to be shocked after hearing this but he patted his hand on my head and said- it will be his honour to help me. I felt happy after hearing his words. We first went towards my apartment to pick up my belongings. I was feeling nostalgic. I settled my rent with the landlord. After that i went with David towards his home. when we reached there i saw that it was a very small apartment.David unlocked the door and we went inside. I think he was feeling little shy. Maybe it was his first time to invite a girl to his home. I chuckled a little by seeing his cute face. He's home was very clean. Everything was kept perfectly. Even though it was small apartment, gave a homely feeling. David went outside because he wanted to attend a call. Meanwhile i was taking a tour in his house. He didn't have any family photo which i thought to be weird. Well maybe he's an orphan. I thought. Suddenly my phone started to ring. It was Mira, my childhood friend. She knew about my relationship with Lucas. I picked up the phone.

Mira-"Girl what are you up to. You haven't talk to me since last 2 days. Are you angry with me? Did i do anything that upset you? Please tell me babe "(She calls me babe) . I told her everything that happened to me and also about David.

Mira-" That son of a bitch. How dare he did this to my precious babe. i am really sorry babe. You know i am out of city due to some work. Otherwise i would kicked his *** and be there for you in this hard time. Well tell me i know you don't even hangout with any boy. What's with this David. She asked curiously.

I said - " I wanted someone beside me to make me feel comfortable. I don't know but for unknown reason i will safe with him. it's been just one and a half day that i know him but i get that sense of security from him. I just want to know more about him. Moreover I can't live in that old house of mine. It is filled with memories that i don't wanna remember.

Mira-" Ok girl as you wish. Take care I will go as i have a lot of work to complete otherwise my client will kill me.But still be careful and don't cross your line ok. You know what i mean . 😈😈

Stop it mira. Anyways i will go back in 2 days to New York. So it's just a matter of 2 days got it. I said.

Mira -"ok ok bye. ttyl..

In the mean time David was back. As soon as he came in he told me to take a shower. I took shower and came out draping myself in a bathrobe. I took a little nap. After taking nap i saw the watch it was already time for lunch. I quickly started removing my bathrobe.

David-" Grace come on the lunch is........😳😳😳

I was surprised by hearing his sound and turned around to see him standing at the door. My chest was literally exposed just now. Seeing my condition he immediately reacted and closed the door. WTH was this situation. I remember i locked the door. ohhhh now how can i face him after this. I wore my night dress took a deeeeeep breath and went out. David was dressed in an apron and arranging the dishes on the table. He is looking damn hot in the apron. What are you thing Grace come back to the situation. I asked him if he made the dishes to which he said yes. I was quiet excited to taste his dishes. I asked him where should we sit. He said-" Why to sit on any dining table when we have this floor to sit. Just sit in the lotus position like people do in india. Don't worry i just now cleaned the floor. According to me sitting on the floor is the best way to eat. Even though i am not an Indian i like their culture a lot. His words touched my heart. He is the most cheerful man i have ever seen in my life. I saw that he made dal fry, tortillas, rice, and my favourite Paneer Butter Masala.

"Sorry i was just craving for some Indian cuisine that's why i made this dishes. I hope it suits your taste", said david.

"Don't worry David. I too love Indian cuisine and PBM is my favourite. Very few people know about it. "

"Nice to hear that. Now start digging the food."

I heart felt warm. The food was very delicious i enjoyed eating it. I forgot he is sitting in front of me and ate like a mad woman. Suddenly David came towards me. My heart started again..that dhak dhak dhak dhak... ❤❤. He brought his hand near me and wiped the remains of food on my lips. I was so surprised. He was just staring me. So was i. Then we both got back to our senses. He apologized for his behavior but i cut his words in the middle and said that it was ok. We both laughed at the situation.
