#3 Warm feeling

Grace's P.O.V.

I woke up and i noticed a man's back facing me .May be he's the one whom i saw before i got collapsed. I thought.He was talking to the doctor. I pretended to sleep and heard their conversation. I listened to the doctor, he was talking about my health then he said about me being this man's girlfriend and I felt that he blushed a little but I was curious about what he would say further to which the man replied no she is not my girlfriend and I felt relieved hearing that. When the doctor left I open my eyes and maybe his saw me making some movement. I was acting innocent as to why I am here then he explained me the whole situation I was very thankful to him for helping me in this miserable state. So I thanked him for helping me with my head lowered then I shifted my gaze towards him I saw him for the first time. He had a fair skin and had a very tall figure.To be frank he was more handsome than Lucas and looked trustworthy but for now it still didn't matter to me because I was in a state where I can't trust anybody. I asked for his name to which he replied- David Watson.He then came near me and asked my name and something about my family and my home I told him my name and also that I was doing post graduation and for now I don't want to go to that home where I lived. I thought that why should I go in that home where I have a lot of memories of me and Lucas in there I wanted some time to make me more stable. After that he went outside the room maybe he also felt uncomfortable with me. I was then emerged with the thoughts of what happened I was wondering if this all is happening for real and this man who is too genuine with me with his gestures is he really that good or he is also two faced like others. Suddenly the door opened and i was surprised to see him back with medicines and some food. As i was having my food the doctor recommended to get one day of rest. I was a little reluctant but before i could answer. The man replied- as you say doctor. I was shocked to hear this. I was wondering that will he take care of me for the whole one day? Will he wash my feet? I was immersed in my thoughts when suddenly i felt cold on my feets. To my surprise he was really washing my feets. I was a little shy to let him do this chores so i asked him to not to do it. But he didn't listened to me and further he even helped me wash my face. I was feeling so warm inside me. Come to think of it. In this time period of 2 years Lucas didn't take care of me even when i was sick and this guy in front of me was being so genuine. He helped me the whole day. Finally it was night and time to sleep. He went on the couch to sleep before which he told me to wake him up if anything botherd me.I nodded. I saw that the couch was small for him to fit but he still slept on it. After some time he suddenly asked whether i can live with him. I didn't know what to answer and he also didn't asked me anything further. I was still thinking that whatever happened yesterday was the worst day in my life. I literally watsed my two years on him.I was so naive to believe him.I was sobbing silently. I don't know when i slept.
