The following day, Thessaly spent the day with Clara, resolving to do her prenatal care with the same doctor who looked after Clara's pregnancy.
On the day of the appointment, Can left the office in the morning.
"Wait, give me your hand here," he said, observing Thessaly descending the stairs.
Thessaly laughed, "Can! I can get down the stairs by myself, you know!"
"Yes, I know, young lady, but I'd rather assist you, you and our babies."
Thessaly chuckled even more, "Oh, so delusional."
They proceeded to the clinic, and upon entering the doctor's room, Can became emotional and took Thessaly's hand. He requested the doctor's assistant record everything while he held Thessaly's hand, lying in wait for the ultrasound.
Doctor: "Twins run in your family, right?"
Can smiled, "Yes," while Thessaly's eyes widened, "Is it twins, doctor?"
The doctor held back a laugh, "No, Can."
Can's smile waned, and the doctor continued, "It's triplets!!!"
Thessaly exclaimed, "WHAT???" bringing a hand to her mouth, and started to laugh, both happy and anxious.
Can said, "Thank you, my love," kissing her, also laughing.
As soon as they left the clinic, they went straight to Thessaly's parents, who also celebrated upon hearing the news.
Miguel: "Three babies at once, what joy, daughter!"
Clara: "Imagine if they have Can's face; they'll be so full of themselves," she said, laughing.
Thessaly: "He's counting on that."
Can: "With three, I’ll let one be a girl and look like you, my love, haha."
Miguel laughed, "And trust me, son, even if it’s just one girl, she’ll rule over the other two."

In the following days, they discussed the wedding, which they decided would be on the beach at Can’s mother's old house.
