Can enters the bar and from a distance, Thessaly's image catches his attention. He sighs and turns away, but within seconds looks back at her.
He's irritated with himself because everything about the girl captures his interest. Her posture, the way she holds her drink, the way she moves her lips. Absolutely everything!
"Damn it!" he says, shaking his head and scolding himself.
He notices a guy approaching Thessaly and quickens his pace. As he gets nearer, all he hears is Thessaly saying she's already with someone.
The guy leaves, and soon Can is standing in front of her, smiling, while Thessaly remains serious.
"Are you in a bad mood, Tess?"
"No. But I'm not a clown to go around smiling foolishly."
Can's eyes widen - Ouch, no need to be that harsh.
Thessaly stays quiet, continues drinking.
Can orders a drink and leans beside the girl, catching the scent of her perfume.
"Your perfume is wonderful."
"I know. I have excellent taste!"
Can chuckles, impressed by her confidence - you're always so self-assured, it's incredible.
Thessaly laughs - I am incredible, those who've tried me know, they never forget.
