I am very nervous and Vlad, who is in the van with me, realizes it and takes one of my hands.

It was night and quite late, so we decided to go up to our rooms to rest, tomorrow would be a long day.
I'm lying in my bed, but no matter how much I toss and turn, I can't fall asleep, the nerves and the heat in this place don't help much either.
It's better to go for a walk to clear my mind, I search through my clothes for something comfortable to wear, I find a short-sleeved dress that reaches my knees, I put on white sneakers and tie my hair up, I open the window of my room, which luckily faces the garden, and with a jump, I reach the ground without difficulty.
Outside it's cool, tonight there's a full moon, so the lighting is perfect for walking around. I've been walking for a while until I reached what looks like a lake. I approach it and can see my reflection. The appearance it shows is the one I've had since I got the pendant my uncle Armand gave me. I feel warm from the walk, so I start taking off my shoes, the dress I'm wearing, and let my hair down. Slowly, I immerse myself in the water. The sensation is exquisite and very refreshing. I take hold of the pendant charm, close my eyes, and my hair and eyes return to their original color. I missed seeing my true appearance so much. It's only been two months since this change, but for me, it felt like an eternity.
Suddenly, I smell a delicious scent of wood and pine. Serena, in my head, is restless and says something that shocks me.
Serena - Mate!! Aria is our Mate!!!
Aria - (surprised) What!! That can't be, you must be mistaken. We accepted Kiran's rejection before leaving Sunshine. We no longer have a Mate.
Serena - (excited) It's not Kiran!! This scent is different. Find him, Aria.

In her head, she had a whirlwind. On one hand, Serena fought to take control, while on the other hand, Aria herself wondered how it was possible to have another Mate. The Moon Goddess had already given her one, and circumstances made her reject him.
Serena - Aria, please come back. We need to find him.
Aria - Enough, Serena! I don't want another Mate. Wasn't what happened with Kiran enough? I don't want to go through it again. So if the Moon Goddess has granted me another Mate, I will reject him. She closed the connection with Serena.
She arrived at the Black mansion, went up to her room, changed out of her wet clothes into pajamas, and got into bed. There were only a few hours left until dawn, so she decided to rest, even just for a little while, and unknowingly fell asleep.
