Episode 6

ARIA

I have been running for I don't know how long and I am already tired, when I hear Serena's voice.

"Give me control, Aria, I will be able to pick up the pace and I assure you that by dawn we will be reaching vampire territory." Serena said.

"Alright, take control."

I feel my body start to burn and my bones begin to transform and I collapse onto the grass, closing my eyes from the pain. When I open them again, I see that instead of my hands, there are paws with fur, it's the first time I transform and despite the pain, it was great.

Serena speeds through the forest and definitely before dawn, we are at the edge of Sunshine territory. Once we cross the river, it becomes vampire territory. I ask Serena to give me back control so that she can also rest, and she does. I transform back into a human, put on the clothes I had in my bag that I brought with me. I'm about to jump into the water to cross, but out of nowhere I feel a blow and I fall, my back hitting a rock. I get up as best as I can and feel two stabs, one in my shoulder and another in my leg. I feel my strength slowly leaving me and in my head I hear Serena saying that they are silver arrows, that she can't take control again.

I manage to get up and pull out the arrow in my shoulder and get into a fighting position when I see that two wolves with a very bad appearance are near me, apparently they were Rogues.

They approach me and smiling say, "Look what we have here, a little Wolf and she's alone, I think we'll have some fun today."

"Hahaha it certainly seems that way, what if we teach her what a good beatdown is before killing her?"

"I'm not afraid of you and if I have to die, I will, but I will kill you first."

"You damned brat, you'll see what I'll make you scream my name when I'm fucking you like the bitch you are."

Both of them pounce on me and I, despite being injured and having silver in her blood, stand tall and ready to fight.

I feel my senses sharpen and I dodge the first Rogue's attack and deliver a kick to his stomach that sends him flying. The second one, seeing his partner, is thrown far away. He insults me and throws a punch which I block with my arm and I quickly deliver a strong right cross that sends him into the river.

I don't wait for them to regain consciousness and I dive into the river and swim as best as I can. Thank the Goddess, Caleb taught me how to fight and swim.

I reached the other side and with the little energy I had left, I emerged from the river and walked a few meters until I reached a tree where I could rest. I had lost a lot of blood and the silver was still in my system, I felt very weak, I had to find help or I wouldn't survive. I couldn't hear Serena, she was probably weak too because of the silver.

I stood up and tried to continue, but every step I took was a struggle to breathe, I felt my body heavy, but I couldn't give up. I don't know how much further I walked until I arrived at a large door, I had finally made it.

But as I approached, I couldn't stay on my feet anymore, my vision blurred and I fell. When I thought I was going to feel the cold ground, I only felt something cold stop me. I didn't know what it was, but I also didn't have the strength to find out. The only thing that came out of my mouth was: "Please, I need to see the Vampire King," and after that, everything turned dark.
