Episode 66

...Narrator...

The atmosphere in the room became very tense. Neither of them said anything for a long time, until Diana broke the silence.

"I can't change the past, nor can I change every decision my father made. He made my mother suffer too much, I know, but I can't change that, my father is dead, and only Grandpa Carlos is alive, I can't make an innocent person pay for the decisions of his son. Maybe, if it were Esteban Lu, who was here with me right now, in this room, and it wasn't Carlos... I would have left this mansion, and I would never have wanted to see him again in my whole life..." Diana said out loud.

Carlos looked down, he did not expect those words from the girl. It seemed that Diana was becoming a very mature woman, and she couldn't judge others for the bad decisions her father made...

"Maybe, if my father, hadn't left my mother pregnant, in the hands of his nefarious family, she would still be by my side, watching her grandchildren grow up... I can't blame anyone but the murderers who ended her life... But, I can keep feelings inside of me, nothing favorable for my father ..." Diana's cold gaze showed a new woman being born out of pain...

"You must erase the past. It's not good for you to relive something so painful." Carlos was trying to prevent Diana from hating, the memory of his son...

"What I can do from now on is make the decisions for me, and for my children. My mother's death will not go unpunished, and the murderers will pay dearly for her death." Diana exclaimed with immense hatred, for Mateo and Fatima.

"My real name is"Elizabeth Lu"... And now I'm a new woman, a very different woman from Diana Wlop." The girl looked at Carlos with resentment, but at the same time with much gratitude.

If it weren't for him, at that moment, she wouldn't be the woman she had become... She left behind Diana Wlop, the mute girl who one day was forced to marry Edwin Shop.
