Bon soir, Madamemoiselle. [Good evening , Miss.]

Phoebe

Pareillement! [Same to you!]

I curtsy and leave the stall.

Phoebe

(That just about wraps up tonight's shopping!)

Note: Phoebe doesn't have a mother. She died after giving birth to Phoebe. And Phoebe only has her father as her family in the world.

A few stall owners call out to me in greeting.

I wave and smile in return.

(Sometimes I envy them. Father would never let me run a stall by myself.)
