She looks at me , with an unreadable expression.

Feriha

I was lucky. And like I said no more questions. And no doctors.

Esin

I already promised I wouldn't let anyone know you are here, not even doctors.

Esin

Now, just one more question and then I'll stop. How did you get your injuries?

As I ask, I walk to my top dresser drawer, take out a first aid kit, and bring it up to the bed.

She crosses her arms over her chest, as I start to gently tend to the wounds on her ankle and calf.

She doesn't even flinch when I use peroxide to clean them out.

Feriha

You don't need to know that.

I let out a sigh, accepting that I won't get it out of her, not now.

So, I finish tending to her wounds in silence

Esin

You can stay here until these heal. Do you , uh, eat regular?

Esin

food or...

Esin

(I cringe... werewolves prefer meat over regular human food.)

Esin

(...And vampires like blood, though some eat regular food.)

Esin

(So , I have no idea about, Feriha.)

Feriha

I eat human food and drink blood. If you have any rare-cooked steaks , it will help me recover.

Esin

Got it , I'll get you some and I can get you animal blood, is that okay?

Feriha

Yes, I don't usually drink human blood.

I swallow hard as I stand.

Esin

(Usually?!And I'm letting her stay under my roof? God , I must be nuts!)

Esin

Okay , give me twenty minutes, and I'll come back with sustenance.

After, giving Feriha rare-steak, veggies, water and animal blood, she looks much better.

She proceeds to rest.....rest and rest.

She's been at my house in secret now , for three days now, though we hardly see eachother.

Both of us are introverted and like like our space and time alone.

It's the afternoon of day three with Feriha. And I'm studying in the university campus café.

I take the last sip of my Latte, and look up to see my favourite professor, Kate.
