I'm both a werewolf and a vampire, a half-blood.

(What the heck? Is that even possible?)

Are you serious? I've never heard of any other 'half-bloods'.

Esin

I didn't even know there was such a thing, though I've heard rumors.Not to sound rude!

Feriha's jaw tenses, and her gaze is like ice.

Feriha

That's because most of us are killed at birth. Now enough questions.

She says all this in a flat , distant tone.

Esin

God, Feriha...that's horrible.

I'm sorry.I mean, clearly it didn't happen to you since you're alive,but...
