Episode 13

Location: Quezon City (Q.C)

On a sunny day where people are so lively walking down the street.

Cars, people are everywhere, dogs and cats are everywhere and so as the trashes are everywhere at any corner of the city as they are made to be there.

Like any other country, this also has many problems.

"A thief! Someone get him!" Someone from the crowd of people is shouting pointing at the direction where the kid in a hood is running.

In such a dense crowd, there will be of course goodwill citizens who are there to help.

Eight people are started chasing the hooded kid as they thought they can catch him with numbers.

However, the hooded kid is not alone as they are many of them running in multiple directions to confuse those who chased them.

It works perfectly as they don't who to chase and bump each other like fools who are chasing a mise with only a fork in hand instead of a butterfly net.

In the end, those kids successfully stole an item from one of the people on the crowd.

They are at the alleyway between two tall buildings and looking at the prize they got from stealing.

"How much is it?"

"Did we get a jackpot?"

They are five of them and were looking at the prize- wallet counting how much cash is in there.

"Three hundred ninety-nine, four hundred... four hundred thirty-five pesos!" (8.56 dollars)

"Woah!! A jackpot!"

This is their daily routine stealing everyone's money to buy something helpful to them.

Even it was just small money they are all happy as they finally can afford to eat food.

They are all happy but it was not still enough however they are not the only group who are stealing as they are all in one big group to survive in this city.

In short, they are those that you called thugs, the young thugs.

Thugs are everywhere in the city causing troubles and problems for others.

But the people can't do anything as they are always getting away even with polices chasing them.

You can tell that they are all experienced as they are all perfectly synch to their groups like fishes swimming in groups to avoid predators.

"Let's go meet at the meeting!"

"Aight."

It was still noon that day and they are already planning to meet up with their other groups.

The other groups from the north of the Q.C had done their job and went to meet up with other groups.

It's 6:00 PM yet the sun is still there shining throughout the city and in a certain part of the city where there is a vacant lot with a small stage in the middle.

This is the place where the thugs gathered as they covered almost all of the vacant lot.

Old men, teens and even kids are here as thugs.

"We made in time!"

"I told you to don't eat that food!"

"You waste more than an hour inside the toilet, you know."

"Hahaha because I'm hungry you know!"

"Argh! Shut it we are finally here so be quiet."

They are the five people who stole the wallet with four hundred thirty-five pesos in it earlier.

Looks like they somehow made it in time that almost all of the thugs are here talking one to each other.

This is somehow kinda like an event rather than a serious meetup.

The five don't look out of place from the others yet they don't join the other groups as they are still not familiar with this event as they are new to this.

Noise from here and there with more and more thugs are coming into this place.

If one could count how many they are they could be at hundreds or even more. Not to mention they are all thugs living in a single city.

This meetup only happens rarely as it was not been used since the time this group was first formed.

While thugs are talking to each other a certain individual comes to the top of the small stage gathering everyone's attention to that individual.

The individual didn't bother to hide his face and revealed that he is a young man.

He wears a school uniform like he just got out of school and went here immediately.

Certainly, he didn't look like a thug and all thugs who are watching don't have a clue what is the young man doing.

They all just staring at him with a bunch of question marks on top of their head.

Of course, other thugs take quick action as two thugs went to the stage aggressively ask the young man a question.

"Oy kid? Do you know where you are standing at?"

"Boss, let's teach this kid a lesson."

The young man didn't move nor bother to answer their question as he is still staring down at the thugs who gathered here.

(Woah... Now this is discipline.) He is completely amazed.

However, his thug gazing didn't last long as the two thugs are about to grab him at the shoulder.

The young man already expects this as he still doesn't move an inch and let them come closer to him.

As they are about to get near to him.

*Snap!*

A sound of something that had been snapped.

And after that those two thugs who are about to grab the young man fallen from the stage to the ground.

Confusion.

Everyone is confused about what happened. It was unbelievable not only the young man defeated two thugs at once he did in a flash that no one can comprehend what he had done.

As the young man takes advantage of them being quietly speechless and spoke to them.

"Everyone."

With just one word not only they are staring into him they even feel scared for a moment.

His word is not loud but it can be heard throughout from here to the end of the vacant lot.

"You may not know me but I'll tell you all one thing."

He briefly pauses there for a second and continued.

They don't who is him nor what is happening but they all know that they must listen carefully to what he will say.

*gulp* It can be heard that they are quite nervous as you heard them swallowing their saliva into their throat.

"I'm declaring you all thugs..."

(What is he planning to do?)

(I'm kinda scared.)

"I'm declaring you all thugs to be in one in my gang as I will taking the leadership and you all will be following me."

He casually said it idly.

"Huh!?"

(HUH!?)

(WHAT!?)

All of them are surprised at what they had heard as they never expect him to say that kinda thing to them.

Now that you mention it.

The young man is only one and they are hundreds of them.

One vs hundreds.

Why didn't they thought that earlier?

Because he is intimidating?

He is really intimidating at start but now it's kinda...

Childish? If one could describe.

Thugs quickly understood the situation and they move all at once like they are all sync together.

"GET THAT BRAT!"

"THIS WILL BE THE FIRST GOAL OF OUR MEETING SINCE YEARS!"

"URRRYYYAAAHHH!"

They all shouted together forming a loud like thunder making those who are near them shiver in fear.

Of course, the young man is not an exception he is indeed scared like he didn't prepare this to happen.

(Fuck!)

The place he is, was in the middle of the vacant lot means he is surrounded by hundreds of thugs.

He just kinda went to middle because it has a little stage for him to gather their attention but he did not expect that they would all rush at him.

Sound of a hundred of thug's feet run straight to him.

"Tsk!"

As the young man got no choice he grasps a weapon from his bag at least to prepare him from the waves of thugs.

He pulls a metal bat from his bag and readies his stances.

Even in that kind of situation he still doesn't lose his cool and quickly observes the situation.

They all went towards him but the group at the west is the one coming first to him.

Thankfully he is at a small stage as he can see a little clearer at the back of the thugs as the waves of thugs that are not too many for him to not endure.

"Go. Come." The young man speaks with two words that no one can hear except him.

The way he holds his bat is like a sword as it was at the front of his body ready to thurst or slice anything coming to him.

He looks at the west where the first group will come.

He holds his bat like it was something heavy and swings it horizontally to them from right to left.

The bat collides to the thugs making them fall to the ground.

It was a heavy hit to them as many of them have been thrown away with only one swing. It was an out of the world strength yet they still didn't question it as they continue to run to him.

Even the young man has a small petite body he sure makes everything flew away from his swing.

Of course, the way he uses the metal bat is impressive but it's slow and because of that before the young man can recover from the recoil of the swing the north and the east side are about to pounce at him at the same time in both directions.

The thugs hold something like rocks or a glass bottle for them to use to hit the young man.

*BANG* It was a direct hit to the head with a bottle making him loses his balance.

Without mercy, it did not stop there as rocks threw towards the young man without giving him time to breathe.

As expected from the thugs the young man got no chance of winning.

And yet...

The young man is still not losing consciousness as he still holds his metal bat tightly from his right hand.

He was surrounded as the south groups finally here also beating him.

The young still not lose hope like he is waiting for something.

He is all in fours and yet he still crawling towards something.

Thugs didn't know what he is doing as they are all busy hitting the young man.

Surely, after a couple of seconds, he will surely be beaten up into a pulp.

However...

As the young man reached his destination he stopped and suddenly.

*guruguruguruguru* a sound of something is rolling can be heard loudly.

Some of the thugs who are busy hitting the young man stop and looked at where the direction is the sound coming from.

At the rooftop of the building beside them are the sound is coming from.

Yet they still don't know what it is as they are looking it waiting for it to come out.

And as soon as the thing comes out from the rooftop.

"WAHHHH!!!"

"What the fuck!?"

Hundreds of wooden rolling pins are falling from the rooftop to their place.

A single rolling pin might not be a threat but if its hundred then it is, of course, a dangerous threat to them.

(Out of all of the things why rolling pins!?) No, why is it falling anyway?!

It's like raining cats and dogs but not literal cats or dogs but instead a fucking rolling pin!

What a bizarre thing to happen to someone else life.

The thugs are already late for them to respond on to the raining rolling pin.

It quite painful you know if you got hit by something hard as wood that is falling from 10 story building.

Wait did I say hundreds? The raining of rolling pins doesn't stop even they are getting hit continuously from any direction. It was more than hundreds, its more like thousands!

"AH! Make it stop!"

"It hurts!"

The rolling pin size is about 30 cm, of course, it will be hard to dodge it if its thousands of them and you are stuck in a place where its pack of crowds.

And the painful scene continued for a couple of minutes.

After two minutes of raining of rolling pins, it finally stops.

Almost all of the thugs lost conciseness from getting hit at the head as they can't escape from the hell at the vacant lot while the remaining are managed to escape.

Hmm?? The young man?

Oh...

The young man is at the very side of the building getting surrounded by bodies as he was not been hitten by a single rolling pin from the sky.

As he observes the situation he stands up from his place and went back to the small stage in the middle of the vacant lot.

He is the only one standing. Well, he is barely standing but it still can be called the last one standing.

He is like standing at the corpse whom he defeated.

This is what the young man's plan from the start.

A plan to make name for himself in their territory.

And it somehow success.

A coward strategy, a perfect strategy for the enemy who uses numbers.

Thugs never forget the faces of their enemies so that they can revenge them back.

But this is something that gets all of their attention throughout the city.
