"Again. I am very sorry but you cannot escape from here even with my power. You will die here without the world knowing." said Sir. Lucas in an apologetic tone.

"We know," answered Mike already knew what will happen to them.

"..."

"That is why let me ask a question."

"A question?"

"Yeah. Why are we here in the first place?"

"..." Lucas looks at Mike with worry expression on his face.

Lucas is already calm down as he is more like the Lucas that they knew when they at school.

His intimidating and somehow cool figure came back to him but somehow he can't remove the expression of worriedness on his face as he is looking at Mike.

Lucas is about to turn his head to look at the one who holds his shoulder but soon stops as someone whispers to his ear.

Mike and Ray should definitely see the man behind their teacher but can't as the man is wearing something like a cloak preventing them from seeing the man's face.

After Lucas heard the man's whisper he stiffened in fear as drips of cold sweat came down from his face.

Lucas immediately goes back to the people wearing in a lab coat and not leaving a single word or two to Mike nor Ray.

The two are surprised and confused about what just happened.

They look at the man in a cloak as they thought that this man is the cause of why Lucas goes back.

Unfortunately, Mike hadn't heard a single thing from his whisper to Lucas.

Mike was confident from his hearing ability, but he didn't hear anything from that man's whisper.

He looks at Ray who is in deep thought as he is thinking what is the speed-up evolution Lucas is talking about.

(If only the man in cloak didn't come we could know what is happening to our bodies right now.) Ray had thought.

Mike looks at the sky and stares at it for a while.

The ship is still moving to it's designated location may be their destination will be at the place where they will be killed.

While they are thinking something deep Leo and Daniel walk to them.

"Hey who is that kind you are talking to earlier?" asks Daniel in harsh tone thinking that they are trying to escape by using sweet words.

Leo calms him down and also asks a question but in a different manner.

"Friend of yours?" said Leo in a cool tone even his face is showing that he is afraid.

"That guy we talk to is our teacher we can't believe it at first but it's true so we somehow accepted it." spoken by Mike as he still staring at the night sky.

"Huh!? Like I would buy your shitty lie."

Naturally, everyone would not believe what Mike had said about one of the people who kidnapped them are their teacher but Leo is different.

Even if he is still terrified he knew that Mike is not joking around especially in this situation. He already has a deep trust in Mike after their fight. He himself didn't know why he has a deep trust in him, he just trusts him.

"Can you tell me what you are talking about with your teacher?" asks Leo.

Daniel makes a dumb expression on Leo's question.

(Why would you believe in him!? What if he is only using us to escape?) thought by Daniel.

Instead of Mike answering his question, Ray answers him in a serious tone.

Ray tells Leo and Daniel the little information they got from Lucas.

After they heard the story especially the word 'death awaits them' their face turns into bitterness.

"M-maybe if we just wait for a little longer the polices or the soldiers will rescue us!" said Daniel changing the mood a little.

However, it immediately backfired by Mike's words. "Too bad but it's been days or weeks since the large scale kidnapping happened and yet those rescuers didn't arrive looks like they gave up or don't care."

"M-maybe they are on their way right now!" Daniel lowered his voice as he is humiliated and went quiet.

(What on earth is the speed-up process evolution?) Mike goes in deep thought ignoring Daniel who is wishing for someone to rescue them.

Leo also is thinking the same question as Mike.

Ray is surprised looking at Leo as three question marks are at the top of his head indicating that he is confused.

Daniel got no choice to say this as he knew if they somehow set apart from Mike, he might escape by himself leaving them behind. His eyes are telling him that Mike is the type of guy who will abandon others just for his life.

"You are right we must prepare a plan." agreed by Leo.

"There is the only thing we must avoid..."
