Eli P.O.V.

I am sitting on my office in the pack house silently thinking about the dream that I dreamt of. Its not a usual dream and I can feel that its not one to be ignored.

I headed voices outside just as the door slammed open revealing my friends.

"What happened? I thought her mate rejected her? Why are they sitting in the same table in the cafeteria? And they seem to be cozy too." Came in Milliana with her mate Micaela, Dan and his mate Trinity.

"I don't know"

I said with a deep sigh, running both of my hands on my face. I'm frustrated and confused and I know that its pretty obvious by my face.

I really don't know what's happening.

Not to mention the sparks, the tingles. Its like moon goddess destined us to be mates but lycan must not have a destined mate so moon goddess have her mate reject her so she can be with me.

Pretty messed up. Why? Moon Goddess why?

Hold on a second. Did I just assumed the Moon Goddess plan?

"What do you mean you don't freaking know?! Are you going to give her up like that? You've been searching for a mate for how long? And you're just going to gave her up to what huh? To an asshole Alpha Werewolf?! That practically rejected her the moment he saw her?"

This time its Trinity. We all turned our heads on her. All eyes wide in shock.

This is like the first time I heard her shout like that. Well, not shout but some decibels near it. She is always the quiet and preservative one out of us all. She is always thinking of words to say.

"No no,its not like that.. I-I just think-", I cut myself with another deep sigh. Once again rubbing my hands on my face.

"You think what? " Dan asked rubbing Trinity's back to calm her down. Mates have that kind of effect with one another.

"I think this has something to do with the dream." I ran my fingers through my hair.

The dream that I can't seem to take my mind off it. Its been etched in my mind like a temporary memory. Like its some important thing that I should've know of.

"A dream? How is that supposed to be connected? What dream?"

Milliana bombarded me with questions while sitting in the sofa preparing for a long discussion.

"Well, yesterday I had this weird dream. I think its like a riddle type of something but I can't quite understand what it says. It says that 'The rejected will bring peace along with the destined. And will own the most powerful pack which will be considered Royals. One is weak but two is strong. But not all act is real. The real destined will have an eye like a sky.'"

I said to them clearly remembering the words that is drilled in my brain since I dreamt about it. I know it's not something to be ignored and I need to do something about it. I just don't get how this all seemed to be connected.

I felt that this is not just a mere dream.

"I'm afraid that Jasen must've dreamt of that too."

"Will you go out with me?"

We are on the pack house. I am drinking bottled water and Jacob just asked me this question resulting me to choke and spurt the water everywhere specifically Jasend face.

It just came out of nowhere!

"Sorry, Excuse me, what did you just say?"

I asked, still shocked. I was actually thinking if I heard it right. Or maybe he meant outside. Like, will you go outside with me? Or something like that.

"I said will you go out with me? like a date."

He said wiping his face with a napkin, clenching his jaw occasionally.

'Damn I wanna kiss that jaw'

'Oh you horny wolf!!'

Wait! Hold on! Is he seriously asking me to go out with him?! As in like a date?!

"Are you serious ? Like I know we are mates and all but, isn't too fast?"

I said clearly panicking. If he asked this before he rejected me I might say yes literally the second he asked. I swear I may have saw his eyes rolled a bit in annoyance but decided to just ignore it.

Scratch that I might ask him myself. Before the rejection happens.

But now, it just seems odd and wrong. Us dating? Claiming each other, wearing each others marks. Mating with each other?

"Lina we've been on this situation for almost a week already! I would've claimed you the moment I saw you but I'm a jerk and I rejected you. But I want you to know that I already regretted that. Now I want to make amends and take you out on a date. Us. Dating.. Just the two of us."

Good thing you know that you're a jerk.

And yeah. Its been almost a week, some werewolves find this normal time span to mark each other but the situation is different. He rejected me literally by the second that he saw me. That's a different statement. I'm still stiff to this kind of situation. That's why I need more time. Heck I'm not even sure of accepting him as a mate. He made me feel uneasy.

"Can I, you know um.. think about it?"

"What?! Think about it?! You're already thinking for a week Lina! You can't seriously reject me! Your mate!"

His tone raising word by word. But his last statement made me snap.

"Oh but you can?! Huh? I can't reject you but you can reject me? Just remember literally the minute we recognize each other as mates you rejected me! But you know what? I forgave you! Because you are my mate but here I am asking for time to think and you're mad! You're such an asshole!"

With the last word. He did what I didn't expect him to do.
