Trash but Worth

Episode 1

"I'm perfectly capable of protecting myself brother, I'm not a child anymore." I said turning around rolling my eyes as I began to walk further into the forest. Its been a while since my wolf and I had a run. And since its my birthday I don't see any problem why not.

"Lina, I know you do but we can't have the chance of you being hurt, and besides it's your 18th birthday, don't you want to stay and enjoy here?"

I decided to stop and stare at my other brother named Argus worriedly begging me to stay.

I would've stayed but my wolf itches to run missing the rush of the adrenaline and the cold lash of wind into my fur as a wolf form.

"It's not like I have real friends there"

I muttered finally running deeper into the woods. When I found my tree, a spot where I put my clothes hidden, so that I would not carry it through the run, I started to undress. I took off my shirt and shorts leaving me but naked.

Closing my eyes I think of my blonde but almost white wolf . I felt my bones cracked. I hissed and gasped because of the pain that I've felt. That normally happens when you're a new shifter. Some even can't control their wolf and gone crazy. That's why training in both wolf and human form is important.

After a few bones dislocation, I felt myself lower to the ground standing in all fours.

And then I started to run. Tongue sticking while I run fast as my limit can do. I love pushing myself in my limit. Even though I know I have a limit, it still make me feel invincible. Makes me feel free.

Hearing some movement on the bush I stopped and stayed still.

I definitely love the adrenaline rush but not the dangerous one!

My ears perked up alert as I stare at the bush. I jumped startled when a bunny came out from it. Little bunny and I had a little stare contest but my wolf instinct won and decided to chase after it. After some hunting and drinking on the lake I finally decided to go back in the pack house.

Getting dressed with my shirt and shorts I began the journey walking back to the pack house.

As I take another step my sensitive ears heard a murderous howl in a distance from where I came from. That's not a coyote. Its a wolf, I'm sure its a wolf but its no ordinary wolf. Being the child of the Beta my senses are bit stronger than the lower ranks.

Shifting my body, I decided to tell Alpha Marcel what I heard. But when I begin running back there's a force that knocked me down in the floor.

Smelling the dirt, and rotten flesh, I immediately know that its a rogue. Shaking in fear I slowly began crawling back to the pack house. I considered to fight but I know I'll just die.. I'm outnumbered. They're like seven or so that are here.

Finally having the courage to stand up I tried to mindlink the alpha and my brothers to warn the pack. I might get killed but I don't want the pack to go down with me. I'm the beta's daughter.

Hearing a murderous growl I turn around only to saw a big blackish brown mud dirty wolf on air probably to attack me. I began to panic but I didn't cut the mindlink connection still trying to connect with the other members.

It's supposed to be a happy birthday. Not like this.. I closed my eyes waiting for the attack but what I felt was a harsh energy that pushed me to the ground.

Opening my eyes I saw my mother in wolf form in my previous place. Laying in the ground, with her chest clawed and bleeding, her heart faintly beating.

Oh my god! No! No no no no!

Tears started to sprung my eyes. I can't talk. I can't scream. I'm utterly shocked.

A dangerous growl woke me up on my shock. My father, seeing as the state my mom was in, he attacked the bunch of rogues probably not thinking as they outnumbered him.

"Dad!!!!" I shifted to my wolf not caring about my clothes as I tried to help dad but I was too late. I finally yelled when I saw him slumped on the once green grass that is now scarlet red because of his blood.

"Mom!! Dad!! Oh my god!!"

I held both of them in my arms sobbing. Hearing no heartbeat in both of their body. The silence is making me crazy.

I heard the footsteps of my pack and brothers instantly relieved that someone was at least here to help.

When I turn my head to the rogues they are gone. Probably knowing that they have no chance to take down the whole pack plus an alpha.

"li-lina"

I snapped back to reality at my brothers and pack staring at me like I'm crazy. They're staring at me like I've done something.

"Wh-what? Argus! Kaden! M-mom is ... D-dad is--.."

Sobbing hysterically I hugged both of my parents corpse in my chest.

"I can't believe you lost control and killed your parents!!"

Mayla, the soon to be alpha's 'girlfriend' screamed.

"What? What? I don't! I- i-!"

My brothers won't believe her. They know I cant! Do they?
