Episode 2: The scent

AXEL'S INTRODUCTION

Hi I am an alpha of the dark blood moon pack. My name is Axel Jace Maxwell, I am not also an alpha of the most powerful pack of the whole north american continent, I am also a young and successful bachelor and I am also known as a playboy. I am the CEO of Maxwell Inc. My main company is in New York City. You may think that I have everything but your'e wrong. I am mateless, a soul who haven't found his other half. An alpha should found his mate already at the age of 19 but I am already 28 years old. I hope I could find her as soon as possible. I would really want to meet her soon enough. If I ever had the chance to finally meet her, I would never let go of her, I will love her and always protect her with my life.

AXEL'S POV

When I woke up in the morning, I saw a woman lying on the side of my bed. She is Janine, the pack slut and my current girlfriend. I have recalled everything last night and I remembered I had a rough sex with Janine.

After getting off of the bed, I immediately head to the showers and planned to have a hot water bath. When I finish showering in the bathroom, I got straight to my walk in closet and changed into my new set of clothes. I decided to wear a blue t-shirt and black jeans.

I went out of my room and when I was walking through the hallway, I saw my beta and best friend, Carson.

CARSON- Hey Bro!! do you want to come with us with the boys to the village to have some breakfast?

AXEL- Sure!! I'll go with you guys to have some breakfast

CARSON- Cool! Come on, let's go!

We went to our cars and head straight to the the village for some breakfast.

When we we're walking around the village, I have smelled a breath-taking aroma. It smelled like fresh strawberries, white chocolate, and lavender. The smell was so good that I almost drooled to the sensation, and I think my heart is beating and pounding so fast and hard,even my wolf spirit can smell it and he has been howling like crazy.

But eventually the smell had faded away and I was so disappointed that the smell didn't last long. I may be disappointed but I still ignored it for now. Where did that damn scent come from?

I let that scent aside for now and we headed to a nearby restaurant to have some breakfast.

~A few minutes later~

After having our breakfast we decided to head back, but I couldn't stop myself from thinking what I had smelled earlier, so I decided to ask one of my friends/pack members.

AXEL- Hey guys!! Did you smell anything earlier when we we're walking around the village?

MASON- No, I didn't smell anything. You must be hallucinating. Just ignore it, I am sure it is just nothing.(My friend said)

AXEL- Ok, I think you are right. It might have been nothing.

I decided to ignore it and let it aside, but I asked myself was that really just nothing?
