His tuxedo hugged his broad frame—black, clean, untouchable—like he was dressed for a war only he could win.
He didn’t move. Didn’t blink. Just stared into the glittering chaos of the city below.
Lights, sirens, horns.
A city screaming.
But inside this cabin—silence.
His hand rested on the glass window, cold meeting colder.

It was stuck—two weeks back.

Wei Zeyan gripped the wheel as his wipers fought uselessly against the blur.
Then—thud.
The engine gave up.
He cursed under his breath, tried the ignition again. Nothing.
He pulled his phone out—dead. Completely off.
“Damn it,” he hissed, jaw tightening.
He looked around. The streets were quiet, half-drowned in rain.
Then he saw it—tucked into a corner between two dull buildings, a small café.
