Chapter 5

After Maria got Clarice back to her room, she began to walk back down the hall to the medical room. As soon as she rounded the corner, a hand was placed firmly around her neck. Swinging her around until she was pinned against the wall, bringing her face to face with the identity of strong hand that was making it difficult to breath.

“M-master Blackwell.”

“Maria, what is it that you are up to?”

“S-sir, Miss Clarice got lost a-and so I was showing her how to get back to her r-room.”

“Oh, and where is your husband?”

“H-he is a-around here s-somewhere, p-probably in the m-medical room.”

“You’re lying Maria, I can see it in your eyes and hear it in the tone of your voice. Now you know what will happen if you lie to me Maria.”

Just as he was saying that his grip around her neck began to loosen, and gave her a smirk.

“W-wait! I’ll tell you Master, just please don’t stop!”

He gave a devilish smile as his hand moved to her wrist and he pulled her to his study.

“Good girl Maria, now tell me where your husband really is, so that we may begin.”

“He is with the young master.”

“Casus? Why is he hurt or sick?

“No Master, it is not the young master who is hurt. He saved an unknown lesser demon. They are up in his secret chamber, she appears to be a lilith but we have no idea as to why she was found on our property.”

“Oh? Very interesting, thank you Maria you have earned a reward of your choosing.”

“Thank you Master. Now please can you give it to me.”

Soon Lord Blackwell had returned his hand on to her throat with a very firm grip, Maria gasped a little bit but her face showed bliss and pure ecstasy. They broke off into feverish intercourse, it was brutal and very rough.

“Now tell me Maria, don’t you feel the least bit worried of how your husband would feel if he saw you like this? Maybe we should stop?”

“No! Master please don’t stop! I don’t care about my husband! I don’t even love him, you’re the only one who can me feel so good!”

“My my Maria, that’s very bold for you to say that. Just for that I’ll be sure make you feel painfully good.”

Later Lord Blackwell stood in the doorway of his office, on the floor behind him was Maria passed out. He began to walk out but stopped for a moment only.

“Thank you, Maria, you have been very helpful this time around.”

He exited the room and walked with immense importance down the hall, until he came across the exact place where Maria said she had entered to get to the room. The secret door opened reveling stairs that seemed to never end. He walked up the stairs to find the room where Casus and a sleeping lilith were. Casus jolted up at the presence of his father behind him. A fierce look was present on his face as he walked closer to the bed.

“Hmmm, Casus what is the meaning of this? Bringing this trespasser into this household, she could be a spy for all we know! Might as well kill her now before she has a chance to report back”

His eyes began to turn milky white as he extended his hand out to her, from it an eerie white light began to appear.

“I’ll annihilate her and then you shall receive your punishment next!”

Just as soon as the power began to surface, Casus blocked it with his body. The loud clatter could be heard by Isaac who was in the kitchen preparing tea, and by Doctor Henry who was by one of the doors. In no time, Isaac was in the room, followed by Henry once they arrived they had found Casus slumped against the wall badly injured. The room was trashed, the bed was turned over leaving the lilith on the floor. Lord Blackwell was standing over Casus, anger exploding from him. Isaac and Henry raced over to try and attack Lord Blackwell to get him away from the situation. Henry was about to stab a needle in the side of his neck, but Maria appeared in front of him and knocked the needle out of his hand. Out of breath she stood with her arms extended in a protecting manner in front of Lord Blackwell. Henry stood in anger and surprise, at the act that his wife just committed.

“Maria, what is it that you think you are doing?”

“I won’t let you hurt my Master, Henry!”

“Thank you, Maria. Oh, Doctor don’t you know what your lovely wife has been doing?”

Henry began to seer with anger at this sigh of betrayal, as Lord Blackwell continued to spout taunts while laying his hands on Maria’s hips.

“She has been spending quite a bit of time with me and enjoying each other’s company. We have learned that Maria is quite the masochist and favors the feeling of my hands on her neck during these times.”

“Maria, you will suffer a most painful death after this is over. Not even your pleads will be enough to save you!”

Henry then pulled out another needle and injected it into Maria’s neck, powered by raged not even her strength was enough to stop him. She fell to ground unconscious, Henry then straightened himself and walked over to take care of the lilith and make sure she was okay. Casus was still slumped against the wall; his wounds slowly began to heal but at the rate they were healing it wouldn’t be fast enough to stop Lord Blackwell. Over to the lilith to finish the job Lord Blackwell walked away from the unconscious Maria, but Casus moved from the wall to lying on the floor and grabbed his foot to stop him from moving any further. Lord Blackwell turned and gave a swift kick into Casus’s face, and just before the kick met his face time had stopped. Casus looked up noticing the halt in time and knew right there that Isaac had used his powers to stop time, he looked and noticed that Isaac crouched next to him with his hand on his shoulder. A time out was needed for the remaining wounds to heal, Isaac knew this was Casus’s battle so the most he could do is give him ten seconds to prepare. The ten seconds ran out and the kick came back Casus blocked it, Lord Blackwell pulled his foot away, stepped back, and gave a disgusted look.

“You ungrateful son of a bitch! What kind of son are you, I raised you to obey and be ruthless. You’re just a weak worthless demon with unconquered powers!”

“You may have raised me, but you are not my father!”

As he said this Casus slowly started to stand up, raging with anger his eyes turned fire red. Then he swiftly stabbed his hand into Lord Blackwell’s heart, it was so fast that Lord Blackwell didn’t even have time to react. After he pulled his hand out it was glowing red, and Lord Blackwell let out a yell of pain as he began to burn from the inside out. He fell to the ground on his knees and Lord Blackwell’s life and rule over the property and hell came to an end. Casus then fell to the floor motionless, and barely breathing. Then the lilith’s eyes flickered open and her head turned towards Casus, she reached her arm towards him.

“No... I-I need... save... him.”

Her voice is weak, and she seems to be in pain. She grabs ahold of Henry’s arms in sense of pleading.

“If you think you can save him then I won’t stop you.”

“Bring him… me… I… remember… everything.”

The color of her eyes begins to flicker white occasionally, but continue to stay an icy blue. Isaac drags Casus carefully over to where to she is and turns him on his back. She then grabs him dragging herself on to him and grabs his head, straightening it out. She brings her face until she was so close that their lips almost touched, kissing him, a white blinding light floods the room. Both Isaac and Henry can see nothing, then as the light begins to fade only one thing can be seen. The lights from her eyes, moments later they return to the icy blue that they were before. Out of breath she leans down towards his ear and whispers in a low weak voice.

“D-do not… forget… thy n-name… Lilih Caper.”

She faints after that falling half way on the floor and half way on to Casus. Moments later Casus awakens, sits up right looks around the room and gathers what he remembers.

“I-I killed him… I killed Blackwell… I’m not sure how I survived, or how I am even awake right now. But right now, that doesn’t matter we need to dispose of the body.”

Carefully moving Lilih off of him, he stands up slowly and turns to face Henry and Isaac, his eyes have change color to a pale white. Only for a moment though, and then they slowly returned to their crimson red color.

“Can you two help me? Isaac? Henry? And can I trust in you to keep this a secret?”

“Yes, my Lord, you can.”

“Yes Casus.”

“Isaac, take the charred body as far south as you, then salt and burn it the rest of the way. Henry, in exactly 30 minutes put the castle on high alert. Tell everyone that lord Blackwell is dead”

“Right away my Lord.”

“I’m on it Casus, afterwards I request the key to the torture chamber so that I may take care of my ex-wife.”

“Granted, come to me after the alert. Now I’m going to the library to try to look as inconspicuous as possible and thank you.”



The whole property went into turmoil, everyone panicked about it running around looking for any sort of clue as to what to do about their master dying. This is when Casus stepped in and ordered for guards to surround the perimeter and to release Cerberus. After he took charge everyone began to calm down a bit, and weren’t as concerned about Lord Blackwell’s death. In the underground torture chamber where no sound escapes, Doctor Henry does his real work except this time it is for his own personal gain. Strapped to a table was his wife, she had her mouth gagged and was stripped down to nothing. She had woken up this way, and instantly she knew what was going on she began to panic struggling to get out. She looked to the side of her and saw a rolling table with all diverse types of equipment, and then to the other side where the incinerator was. She knew this room all too well, and yet it was like she was seeing it for the first time on this table. She tried to yell out through the gag but nothing muffled nothingness. Suddenly she heard her own voice from above her.

“I, Maria, promise to love and honor you through sickness and in health. Rich or poor until death do us part. I love you Henry, and I promise to always stay true to you. And if I don’t then I offer myself to your experiments.”

“That’s what you said Maria, and so here we are. I hope you’re ready to keep your word, because I will have no mercy for you.”

He walks over to her and removed the gag from her mouth causing her to cough, she looked back at him in fear and began to plea for her life.

“H-henry please don’t do this! I’m sorry for what happened I wasn’t thinking straight, I-I thought he was you and trying to save you! The stuff he said was not true, I would never betray you s-sweetheart I l-love you!”

“Maria, stop I already know you’re lying. There is secret lie detector pulse test hidden in your restraints. Besides my dear, I told you from the start that not even your pleas will be enough to save you. Now scream all you want because I’m going to make you hurt really, really, bad.”

He then picked up a needle that held a pain enhancer in it and jammed it in Maria’s arm. She winced a bit, tears streamed down her face as Henry grab a tool and walked over while seeming to examine the tool. He stopped at the corner of the table where her hand was tied off, pausing for a moment and then slammed down the butt of the tool on her hand breaking it. She screams with every breath she had, for it felt a thousand times more painful as he began to cut deep into her skin breaking a few more bones along the way. In the end, her body parts were scattered all about the room, Henry was at the base of the stairs as turned around and stared at his handy work. Then he smiled and sighed to himself, only he didn’t seem all that happy like usual.

“I’ll clean this up later, for now it’s time to find someone new whom I can love and will actually love me back.”

He turned back around and walked up the stairs, it has been about two or three days while he was down there and by that time the whole household was ruled by Casus. Everything was in order and no one seemed to mind or care that Lord Blackwell was dead, change was on its way.
