episode 20

After talking with madam Suzlon for a while, Amelia was coming out the store to return home when she suddenly bumped in to Michael.

Amelia was about to fall when suddenly Michael protected her from falling by her waist,"Are you alright?!", asked Michael worriedly.

Amelia composed herself quickly, not wanting another baseless rumors about her and her friend,"I am fine, Michael."

Seeing Amelia trying to distance herself from him, it pained him a bit in his heart. After all, she held a special place in his heart.

Feeling the tense atmosphere, Michael attempt to strike a conversation and asked,"Have you bought the veggies? Many of them are fresh as they came only today."

Amelia smiled,"Yes I have bought them... I shall be going now... Bye, Michael."

"... Yeah, bye Amy ", said Michael, smiling faintly.

Michael's POV:

Amelia, I hope that you will forever be happy. I know you didn't have someone on your heart before... So I thought of courting you... But now it's clear that someone have already occupied your heart. I hope that you will be forever happy with that lucky bastard, Luther...

*sigh* I should have told her about my feelings sooner before he appeared. Well... maybe that's fate...

End of his POV

Amelia was returning home. She had briefly forgotten the conversation between her and madam Suzlon. But remembering how madam Suzlon told her about those villagers who were dead, she couldn't help but felt a little uncomfortable on her way home, after all, she was surrounded by the tall trees which looked like as though they were glaring down at her.

She quickly increased her pace and reached her home.

She entered inside, feeling a bit relieved. But when she suddenly realized that Luther wasn't inside the house, she started to feel nervous.

Luther had never left the house on his own without telling her first. So, she was worrying.

But, what she was more afraid was Luther leaving her.

They had been living together for a while and Amelia had grown attached to Luther's presence. Ever since she realized this, Amelia always prayed that Luther wouldn't recover his lost memory.

Even though it was selfish of her to think so, what she was unaware of was that Luther had not lost his memory from the very beginning.

Being alone in that old house surrounded by woods and remembering how she used to lived alone in misery, consumed by loneliness, Amelia thoughts became wilder

"What if he regained his memory, so he went back?!" "What if he had gotten into trouble?!" "What if...he left me behind?!"were all the thoughts going round and round around her head.

She was on the verge of breaking down into tears when she heard the door behind her opened.

She turned around quickly and saw Luther coming inside. She ran towards him and hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go any sooner.

Luther, who had just come back, was quite stunned. He didn't even get the chance to glance at her face as she came running towards him in full speed, hugging him tightly and her face small face buried in his chest.
