Blocking her path, his voice filled with frustration "How can you just walk out like this, Rose? What about us?"

"There is no ‘us’ anymore, Aide. I’ve stayed long enough… for the kids."

Odelia Ginger / FL

Emerging from the living room, *her voice sharp* "For us? That’s what this was to you? A favor?"

Rose Ginger/FL MOTHER

Turns to Odelia, her expression *softening* "I did my best for you and Hudson. But I can’t stay in a marriage without love."

Aide Ginger / FL FATHER

Shakes his head, his voice trembling "We built a life together. Doesn’t that mean anything to you?"

Rose Ginger/FL MOTHER

"It does, Aide. But we both know this isn’t what either of us wanted."

Steps forward, her eyes brimming with tears "So now you just leave? Like none of this matters?"

Rose Ginger/FL MOTHER

Closes her eyes, visibly emotional "This isn’t easy for me either, Odelia."

Aide Ginger / FL FATHER

Crosses his arms, his voice *heavy* "You’re abandoning your family, Rose. Nothing about that is easy."

Rose Ginger/FL MOTHER

Glances at the door, her voice breaking "I’m not abandoning anyone. I’ll always be there for you… just not here."

Odelia Ginger / FL

"That’s just a prettier way of saying you’re giving up."

Aide Ginger / FL FATHER

Steps back, his shoulders slumping "Go, then. If this is what you’ve decided, I won’t stop you."

Rose Ginger/FL MOTHER

Picks up her suitcase, her hand trembling "I hope one day you’ll understand."

Odelia Ginger / FL

Staring after her, voice *cracking* "I don’t think I ever will."

Episode ends as Rose opens the door and steps outside, the sound of it closing echoing in the house.
