I’m sorry, I’m sorry… (he said, still grinning, but his eyes softened when they met Taehyung’s)

Taehyung hesitated, looking at Jungkook’s outstretched hand for a moment before reluctantly accepting it.

Jungkook helped him up, and the two of them stood facing each other, Taehyung’s heart racing for a completely different reason now.

Jungkook’s gaze softened as he caught Taehyung’s eye.

You okay? (he asked more seriously, his voice gentle and full of concern)

Taehyung blinked, taken aback by the sudden change in tone.

He nodded quickly, trying to hide his flustered expression.

Kim Taehyung

Y-Yeah… just… didn’t expect that. 💓

Jungkook chuckled, running a hand through his messy hair.

Jeon Jungkook (Rider)

You did great for a first-timer. Next time, I’ll be more careful.

Taehyung crossed his arms in mock offense, still trying to catch his breath.

Kim Taehyung

You’re the one who got me into this mess in the first place! 😤

Jeon Jungkook (Rider)

I did warn you! (Jungkook teased, leaning in closer, his tone light and playful again)

But hey, you have to admit, it was pretty funny. 🤣

Taehyung rolled his eyes, but the smile that tugged at his lips was undeniable.

Kim Taehyung

You’re impossible. 😤💢

Jungkook grinned.

Jeon Jungkook (Rider)

You love it. (He reached over and ruffled Taehyung’s hair, making him squirm in surprise)

Taehyung laughed despite himself, brushing the hair out of his face.

Kim Taehyung

Okay, okay, I get it. You’re the expert. 😒

Jungkook took a step back, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Jeon Jungkook (Rider)

You’ll be an expert soon. (winked at tae)

But for now, how about I get you something to drink before you break something else? 🤧

Kim Taehyung

Fine, but only if it’s not coffee. (Taehyung replied with a wink, knowing exactly how much Jungkook loved to tease him about his coffee obsession)

Okayy… My princess, Miss Kim… (bowed dramatically)

But this made Tae’s heart beat at another level.

Kim Taehyung

*MY…* (Blushing hard)

Tae can't say what is happening? With him, only Jk’s presence makes him feel that way.

Jeon Jungkook (Rider)

Let's go now! (Unaware of the effect)

The two of them walked off together, Taehyung playfully pushing Jungkook’s shoulder as they shared a light moment, the tension between them dissolving in the easy laughter of the afternoon.

It was funny, really.

The way they were growing closer in these little moments.

But Taehyung couldn’t help but feel like the ride—both the motorcycle and this journey with Jungkook—was only just beginning.
