Aarav stood in the empty hallway, feeling a pang of regret and confusion. He had never meant to hurt Sarah's feelings, and he didn't understand why she was so upset.
He pulled out his phone and dialled Sarah's number, hoping to talk to her and clear things up. But the phone rang several times and then went straight to voicemail.
Aarav sighed and hung up, feeling frustrated. He tried calling her again, but she didn't pick up.
He sent her a text message instead: "Hey, Sarah. I'm sorry about what happened earlier. Can we please talk about it?"
But as he waited for a response, the minutes ticked by, and his phone remained silent.
Aarav waited for what felt like an eternity, but Sarah didn't respond to his text. He tried calling her again, but she didn't pick up.
Feeling defeated, Aarav walked home, his feet heavy with sadness. He couldn't understand why Sarah was so upset with him.
As he walked, the sky grew darker, and the wind picked up. Aarav felt a cold raindrop land on his cheek, and he looked up to see clouds gathering above.
He quickened his pace, but the rain started to pour down, soaking him to the bone. Aarav didn't care; he just wanted to get home and forget about the day's events.
As he walked, he felt a deep sadness wash over him. He had never felt so alone, so lost.
He finally reached his front door, dripping wet and shivering. He opened the door and stepped inside, feeling a sense of relief wash over him.
But as he looked around his empty house, he felt the sadness creep back in. He realized that he missed Sarah, missed her smile and her laugh.
He walked over to the couch and collapsed onto it, feeling exhausted and defeated. He closed his eyes and let the sadness wash over him, wondering if things would ever be the same again.
The sound of the rain pattering against the window was the last thing he heard before he drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, Aarav woke up feeling a bit more refreshed, but the sadness still lingered. He reached for his phone and dialled Sdialled number, hoping that she would answer this time.
But as the phone rang, Aarav's heart sank. Sarah wasn't picking up. Again.
He waited for a few moments, hoping that she would call back, but the silence was deafening.
Aarav sighed and rubbed his temples. Why wasn't Sarah answering his calls? Had he h that badly?
He tried sending her a text message again, hoping that she would respond this time. "Sarah, please talk to me. I'm out what happened yesterday. I miss you."
But as he waited for a response, the minutes ticked by, and his phone remained silent.
Aarav felt a pang of desperation. He had to talk to Sarah, had to make things right between them. But how could he do that if she wouldn't even answer his calls?
He decided to take a different approach. He would go to her house and talk to her in person. Maybe then she would listen to him, and they could work things out.
