Mi Na
Obviously. The mysterious back room, the midnight visitor, the ghostly voice? Come on, he’s practically handing you a thriller plot!

Or… maybe he’s in danger? What if he’s trying to protect you?
Jin Ae
(sarcastic) Oh, right. He’s probably a secret agent trying to keep me safe from shadowy organizations.
Mi Na
Don’t dismiss it. Hot guys with tragic backstories are always a win.
Later that evening, Jin Ae notices Seo Joon’s room is slightly ajar. She pauses, tempted to take a peek, but hesitates. However, a glint catches her eye—a small, strange-looking object on the desk just visible through the crack. It looks like a silver pendant with intricate symbols etched into it.
Unable to resist, she sneaks closer and picks it up. The moment her fingers graze the pendant, a sharp jolt of energy shoots through her hand, making her drop it.

Just then, Seo Joon’s voice cuts through the air, startling her.

(calmly, but with an edge) I wouldn’t touch that if I were you.
She whirls around to find him leaning against the doorway, arms crossed and expression unreadable.
Jin Ae
(stammering) I-I wasn’t… I mean, it just caught my eye!
Seo Joon
(walking closer) That’s not something you should be messing with.
He picks up the pendant carefully, as if it’s more than just a piece of jewelry, and pockets it.

That night, Jin Ae dreams vividly. She’s in the apartment, but everything feels… distorted. Shadows twist and turn, and the air hums with energy. In the corner of the living room stands Jae Min, his confident smirk as unnerving as ever.
Jin Ae
(mocking) Playing detective, are we?
Before she can respond, a surge of wind knocks her off balance. When she looks up, Jae Min is gone—but the pendant from Seo Joon’s room lies on the floor, glowing faintly.
She wakes up with a start, her heart racing. To her shock, there’s a faint mark on her palm—an imprint of the pendant’s strange symbols.
Jin Ae’s Inner Thoughts: This can’t be a coincidence. Something is happening here… and I’m right in the middle of it.
Jin Ae tries to act normal around Seo Joon the next morning, but she can’t shake the feeling that he knows more than he’s letting on. As she pours herself some coffee, he glances at her hand.

(pointedly) Did you sleep well?
Jin Ae
(forcing a smile) Of course. Why wouldn’t I?
Seo Joon
(his gaze lingering on her palm) Just curious.
