Setting: Days pass, and Jin Ae starts adjusting to life with her secretive roommate. She’s almost used to his nocturnal schedule and strict boundaries. Almost. But something about the apartment always feels just a little… off.

Eun Ji
Soooo, how’s life with the mystery man? Is he a total vampire or just a wannabe?
Jin Ae
Let’s just say I haven’t seen him once during the day.
Eun Ji
Seriously? Maybe he’s nocturnal for… other reasons. You know what I mean.
Jin Ae
Oh my god, Eun Ji, stop! You’re as bad as Mi Na!
Eun Ji
Just saying, it would explain the garlic in your cabinets!
That night, Jin Ae is woken up by strange sounds coming from the hallway. It’s around midnight, and she knows Seo Joon should be home by now. But as she listens, she hears muffled voices—more than one.
Curious, she gets up and peeks around the corner, catching sight of Seo Joon with a visitor. The other man is tall, well-dressed, and has an air of confidence that makes him stand out, even in the dim light.
Seo Joon
(whispering, annoyed) Jae Min, you’re supposed to be discreet.
Jae Min
(grinning) Relax, Seo Joon. She’s asleep… right?
Seo Joon
(glances around nervously) I don’t want any complications. Just leave quietly, alright?
[Jin Ae’s Inner Thoughts]
Jin Ae’s heart races as she watches their exchange. She quickly tiptoes back to her room before they notice her, trying to process what she’s seen. Who is Jae Min, and why is Seo Joon acting so on edge around him?

Jin Ae
Guys, my roommate had a super mysterious visitor last night! They were whispering like they were hiding something big.
Mi Na
Ooooh, do I smell a conspiracy?
Dong Hoon
Did you get a good look? Any clues?
Jin Ae
Just that the guy’s name is Jae Min, and he seems… well, trouble.
Eun Ji
Girl, you have to find out more. Who knows what they’re up to!
The next morning, Jin Ae finds a new note on the fridge: “I had a visitor last night. Please respect my privacy, and don’t ask questions.”
She smirks, feeling oddly defiant. Sure, Seo Joon may want to keep his secrets, but her curiosity is officially at an all-time high.
Jin Ae’s Inner Thoughts: “Oh, Seo Joon, I don’t need to ask questions. I’ll find my own answers…”
