They filed out of the van quietly, trying to keep their voices low as they tiptoed up the stairs to their shared living room. Once inside, they kicked off their shoes and collapsed onto the couches, buzzing with energy.

(whispered standing by the door as they all shuffled inside)

You know Scoups ’s rounds. He’s been doing this since training days, and you all know he’ll figure us out if we’re not careful. So, doors unlocked, lights off, and everyone in bed or act like you are to engaged in your work to notice anything !
The others snickered, but they knew Woozi was right. They’d all grown used to there Scoups's hyung nightly check-ins it was his way of making sure they were okay, even when he’d had a long day himself. Over the years, leaving their doors unlocked for him had become second nature—a quiet gesture of trust and a reminder of how close they were.

The dorm was finally quiet, each member lying in their bed, barely able to contain their excitement and nervousness. They each waited in tense anticipation, hoping they’d fooled Seungcheol.
Seungcheol and Joshua arrived moments later, slipping inside quietly. Exchanging one last lingering glance, Seungcheol gave Joshua’s hand a squeeze.

Starting with Jeonghan’s room, Seungcheol quietly opened the door. Jeonghan was sprawled out in bed, eyes shut tight, breathing slow and steady.

(leaned against the doorframe, amused )

(Cracked one eye open, feigning innocence) What? Me? Faking? Please, I’ve been asleep for hours

(Chuckled softly) Right I’m sure you have.
Next, he moved to Woozi’s room, where he found Woozi hunched over his desk, headphones around his neck, his computer still on.
Woozi
(Turned in his chair, shrugging nonchalantly) Just wrapping up a track.

(worried) get some actual rest

In the next room, Vernon was sitting up in bed, supposedly reading a book. But the way he kept glancing toward the door gave him away.

Uh, yeah! Just… you know, couldn’t sleep, so I thought I’d… read

(narrowed his eyes, but he let it slide, giving Vernon a pat on the shoulder)

Seungkwan, meanwhile, was buried under a mountain of blankets, trying to suppress his nervousness. He heard Seungcheol’s footsteps approaching and quickly shut his eyes tight, keeping as still as possible.

Seungkwan didn’t respond, holding his breath.

(With a defeated sigh opened his eyes)
Sorry, hyung… couldn’t sleep.

(Nodded clutching the blanket)

Down the hall DK and Mingyu were sharing a room. As Seungcheol entered, he found DK with his head buried under a pillow, while Mingyu was lying stiffly, staring at the ceiling.

Why do you both look like you’ve been caught in the middle of a heist?

Us? Pfft. We were just… you know lying here

(Tried to laugh casually, but it came out as a nervous chuckle)

(peeked out from under his pillow nodding)

In the next room Dino was trying his best to look innocent, but he had a guilty grin that he couldn’t wipe off his face

(crossing his arms) Dino you’re smiling a little too hard to be asleep

(Chuckled, patting his shoulder)
Glad to hear it now get some rest
When he reached Hoshi’s room, he found Hoshi lying in a strangely dramatic position like he was in a deep peaceful sleep

‘zen master.’ Go to bed.
Seungcheol entered Jun’s room, where he found Jun lying on his back with eyes open. The unique habit always amused him as Jun was somehow truly asleep with just that half eyes open.

Seungcheol peeked into Wonwoo’s room and wasn’t surprised to find him awake, immersed in a game on his phone, the light casting a soft glow across his face.

Finally, Seungcheol reached Minghao’s room, where he found him practicing what looked like deep meditation, sitting cross-legged on his bed with his eyes closed.

Entering his own room, Scoups found Joshua curled up on the bed, wearing Scoups’s hoodie, fast asleep. A warm feeling spread through him as he watched Joshua snuggled up, his hair peeking out from the oversized hood

Tugging the blankets up over Joshua, Scoups slipped into bed beside him, wrapping an arm around him Joshua instinctively nestled closer mumbling something in his sleep
