Ina steps out onto a dimly lit street, her eyes scanning her surroundings, senses on edge. She’s heading back from a quiet evening out, though her mind is anything but quiet. The events of the past days, the pieces of the puzzle with Twilight, the Devil’s Team, and the unknown girl, are starting to weigh on her. Just then, a faint chill makes her stop in her tracks.
Voice from the Shadows: smoothly, almost taunting Out late, aren’t we? Not afraid of shadows in the dark?
Ina spins around, her hand instinctively moving to her jacket, though she keeps her expression steady as she sees the figure—a man in a crisp black suit, wearing a mask on even in the night, with that same controlled, composed smirk she’d seen at the exhibition.
