Before Cassian can respond, his phone buzzes on the counter. He picks it up, frowning as he sees an encrypted message from one of his informants.

*Sipping her coffee, processing the information "So, what’s the plan? We can’t wait two weeks for that meeting."

*Serious tone "We hit them first. If we disrupt their preparations, we can weaken Erion’s influence before he even gets to Los Angeles "

*interrupting, shaking her head "Not happening. I’m coming with you this time."

*chuckling "You’re really not gonna let me go anywhere alone, huh?"

*Grinning, but with a serious edge "You can’t get rid of me that easily. Besides, you’re gonna need me. You know Erion better than anyone, but I’ve got the eyes. Remember?"

*Smirks "Yeah, yeah. You did track me down pretty easily yesterday."

*Teasing, placing her hands on her hips "That’s because I’m smarter than you."

Cassian rolls his eyes but knows she’s right. He heads to the living room to grab his gear, but as he passes her, he stops and looks at her more seriously.

They share a determined glance before both head out of the apartment, fully prepared for whatever's next.

Later, at the airport

Cassian and Ina board a private jet, arranged by Cassian’s contact. As they settle into their seats, the tension from the morning begins to fade, replaced by a sense of anticipation.
